  • This video continues the chronicling of our April adventure in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Includes Badlands National Park, Wall Drug Store, The Mammoth Site, Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park's Wildlife Loop, and the abandoned Flintstones theme park in Custer, SD. You can tell by the title which part we liked best.

Why a comparison, see all three. All are close to each other and incredibly beautiful. Been there, defiantly done that.

One thing great no one brings up about the Black Hills is it’s so kid friendly and you don’t have to worry about bears eating your kids. There aren’t any bears. 😆

One thing with these cameras is you can’t really see the steepness of the hill you’re climbing. Or the size and depth of things. You have to be there to appreciate the size of things.

27:17 we saw Flintstones stuff at Great America in our early youth.
Do you know the difference between the people from Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
The people in Dubai don't like the Flintstones, but the people in Abu Dhabi do!
Looks like a fun trip, that land was Theodore Roosevelt's favorite place to ride his horse. He would be gone the better part of a year with no one even knowing when the President would be back!

You guys all looked terrified of those burrows. Are they really mean or something. They looked friendly.

The donkeys were extremely friendly! But keep in mind that it is always dangerous to approach or feed a wild animal, especially one that can potentially bite your hand off or kill you with one kick to the head.
