The reason it is not going that fast is because you have to watch a safety video (watch bikes and beards video)
I just watched a video where a guy takes this exact Segway and replaces the forks, tires but keep the rear sprocket cause it's better then sur Ron's then he puts the battery from the sur ron in it and cut the green wire with the black strip for the braking mechanism and it was as fast as the sur ron and was nicer riding. The battery box is for if you sell your battery you ship it in that box. The controller is the same as on the sur ron.

You had to get it from a distribution center because it was over a certain amount, they don’t deliver things that expensive at your door, for it could be stolen.
