I took my wife and her best friend to see Chris......now i've seen him twice myself so i thought i'd treat them to a show. My wifes friend Debbie had seen the REAL Elvis Presley but was a bit unsure as she's seen so many others on TH-cam.....but when Chris walked on stage and started to sing she was hooked right away. It was an amazing show all night and it made their weekend. So say what you like people....if someone can make you're dark days much brighter....why do you need to put them down. For goodness sake just go out there and enjoy life. If you read this Chris....from the 3 of us and many more i'm sure.....keep up the GREAT work and thank you.

I get tired of people critizing these ETA's for doing what they do. They DO NOT do this to BE Elvis they do it as a tribute to Elvis. They are Elvis fans also just like we are and this is their way of honoring him by keeping his music alive. We all know there will never be another Elvis but give these guys a break. I saw Chris Connor this saturday just gone (4th Aug ) in Blackpool at Legends I was sat on the front row I had a birds eye few. Now I'm a massive Elvis fan and Chris is the closest to perfection you will ever get after Elvis.I know there will never be another Elvis but he is the closest to Elvis we will ever get.Its like Elvis is reborn. He was Fantastic! AMAZING! X X X

Ive known Chris for years....His dad & Uncle are mates of mine. Seen his vids & knew he was good. BUT....just back home from seeing his show in Blackpool....OMG....He is unbelievable....Ive seen lots of superstars over the years & can honestly say that there is absolutely no way in heaven that Elvis at his peak was any better than Chris. Nothing on film could prepare you for how good this guy is....just fantastic. If you ever get the chance. GO SEE HIM.
Saw Chris last week at Sheffield city hall. What a stunning performance! I would love to have seen Elvis in concert and believe this was the next best thing. Thanks Chris.

I sobbed watching him at a concert. It was the closest I was ever going to get to Elvis. The year before I had seen Prince in concert and I liked Chris as much!

However Chris has given us all a second chance to relive the man himself. As a 41yr old well adjusted man I wouldn't normally gush over another fella and people who know me would agree I don't easily get starstruck but Chris is awesome and the reason he deserves such admiration is along with his unmistakable talent he is so humble and unassuming. A credit to ELVIS.
Outstanding artist and such a shame he will be relegated to VFW clubs and hotel ballrooms for performances. So much work for so little return. Fantastic effort!! Kenny
Coming from generations of professional musicians, as a 5 year old, singing harmonies with my younger sister, my mom playing Chet Atkins style guitar and my dad playing banjo at huge traveling tent revivals, gospel music in the era of the Carter family, later to become " The Gentry sisters, on the Rick Nelson circuit, then later I finished as a solo artist throughout the United States, I can say that if Chris Conners stays with it, never resting on experience, as the rest have done, he will be the closest to Elvis in every way. Chris maintains his dignity whereas Bill Cherry is giving in where Elvis never would have gone & that will make the difference between the two in the end. I am really involved now, where I was criticized, I am now the critic. But I only know music by ear, don't read a note, so guys, walk out front to hear those speakers if that is what you need to stay on key. I ran sound, lights, sang backup, keys, guitar, sequenced, & love percussion.Copied Gloria Estefan!

Chris, your talent level for performing is so far above 90% of your contemporaries, it's not measurable. The eta industry has so little return that it is not worthy of your talent and hard work. If you are as good, performing as yourself, as you are as an eta, then be an original act and your return will be worthwhile. Kenny

"Star"? Isn't that quite a stretch? He's an ETA .... there are about 50 really, really good ones .... Chris probably ranks within the Top 15, I'd say. However, calling him a "star" is quite delusional. I try not to be negative on YT but, Chris is one of the ETAs who seems to carry the EP "thing" beyond the stage. Newsflash: key word is "tribute" .... not try to be EP, because you'll only fail. NOBODY comes remotely close to the real thing, and those who try to "be" EP off the stage, are very turn-offish and, quite frankly, embarrassing themselves. It's a joke. Chris IS good, I'll certainly give him that but, as I stated, so are about 50 other ETAs in the USA, alone.

I disagree...I think he's beyond a tribute act..I get goose bumps with the way he nails the mannerisms and the voice..I also think acting is really about finding the character deep within..and deep within he is probably a bit like Elvis..you would have to be.. to be that good..don't know about not getting out of character off stage..but I saw him in an interview and he was clearly himself...a lot of the time I can't tell the difference with the voice .and i can assure you there are a lot of "stars" out there that don't have this guys talent voice or looks..so he's very much a star to me.
