The look great and help contain wet muck from your boots but be aware that water can get under the floor mat and will not dry out with it in place, especially if you are doing river crossings. Prop the mat up off the floor to get some air under there to let it dry - your over night heater will be a great help with that (apologies if I missed you saying that in the video already)
Nicely done, looks good! Looking to put a carpet interior in mine but I think I'm going to use this now underneath it to keep cleaning easier and noise down too.
Nice! 🙂 That looks really neat, I'm sure over a bit of time with temperature changes etc it will also settle in even better. It looks great, I think I will look into that for myself too.
That looks stunning! Can’t remember if you mentioned it or not, but do you think this would fit over a layer or two of sound deadening foam? Or would the fit be too tight and cause the Exmoor bits to buckle and warp?
I have a very shabby old school rubber system, it’s very much at the end of its life and the underside is like a sponge, absolute nightmare to get dry. What’s the underside of this one like? It’s looks very smart, big money but I’m quite tempted.
Thanks for the vid! Looks great. Do you think you could install dynamat type product underneath it all or would it be too tight? Is that overkill for sound and heat insulation? Thanks very much!
Interested to know as well as I was just thinking about betting the whole cabin lined with sound deadening kit then installing new trim, seats, floor covers etc
Did you find it particular snug fit in the foot wells given you have some sound deadening matting there already? I’ve stuck sound deadening sheets everywhere but worried even that slight reduction in space would stop this new matting from fitting.
Genuinely curious, why not measure before cutting? You say it was the best way for you to do it, but you’re obviously disheartened with having to cut multiple times. Despite the first mishap you still didn’t measure for the next holes. For what would be a couple of minutes of measuring I’m sure you could’ve saved on a few four letter words
Unfortunately it’s slightly different when making a video. It takes a hellmof a lot longer than you might think. So it was quicker in my case to do it like this. Plus I think it worked out quite well. For me I prefer to do it this way

Lovely job mate! I’ve had my eye on this mat system from exmoor for a while as well! You’ve just confirmed that I need to pull the trigger on it!

Looks like Boris is getting a big birthday this year mate, looking sweet 👌
Just found you through watching a blog by True Blue Travellers. Looks like a bit of binge watching for me coming up 😂😂
It’s not cheap but it definitely looks smart.
Another brilliant video… looks great 👍
Looks great. Could this still work with the box seat corner protectors?
Wish they did a kit for the puma
That looks stunning!

It is very snug and I would recommend laying it directly on the metal.
Looks mint nice job defiantly going to get it for mine
I have one. Easy to install and looks amazing.
Hi @louisvantonder5038 How is the sound deadening ? Do you notice a difference?
This is on my wish list!! Thanks for the vid
That looks well smart
I like that very much , thanks for sharing.
Love from India brother.
Looks great! Loved seeing your camera rig setup in one of the reverse shots. Do you film on both your SLR and phone? Or is that just a monitor?
Nice one mate

How was the sound deadening, is the reduction in noise worthwhile the cost?
Yeah it’s better, plus the look, the toughness I would say it’s worth it
How much! 😧 I use sheets of rubber crumb matting, which work a treat, look really smart.. and cost several hundred quid less.
Well done

I read on Exmoor Trim's website that it can accommodate 3mm of matting underneath
does it make a difference to sound deadening?
What kind of product is it?Where did you buy it?
Great video but all over defender owners must be rich the price of that os months rent for me😂😂
Couldn’t you just Dynamat the inside of the seat box and get the same result minus the weight?!?
No this is a lovely piece of kit that I’ve wanted for years. Many benefits over dynamat
