I've been a gun guy for ages, but about 5 years ago my mother bought me a nerf jolt as a joke christmas present. I never thought it would be as good as what it was, it's still my favourite nerf gun. A few months later i actually got into nerf and other foam firing guns. Jolts are awesome.
Idea: Run Jolts as a primary. Like 6-10 of them on key lanyards (the self-retracting type) attached to a vest. Would work well as a part of a Pirate themed loadout as pirates were known to carry 6 or so flintlock pistols when boarding a ship. The key lanyards make it so you're not actually "throwing away" your blasters, and the Jolt is light enough to get pulled back in by the spring in the lanyard if you buy the right kind (should be for an actual keyring not an ID card).
ehh idk it "can" hit jolt ranges... with good mods, proper wind conditions... shooting down hill xD but hey it has a attachment rail for my long-stike scope :D
one of my sonic fire jolts has a gray trigger... and my elite jolt has an orange trigger...what does that mean? I'm thinking my sonic fire jolt was made in Australia.
The triad is essentially a jolt with a slightly different shell at the muzzle-end and a 3-shot smart AR system. In short, NO. That is to say the inside of the grip/handle acts as a plunger tube and the plunger rod moves around inside of it just like a jolt. Also the old jolts don't use rivets so that's probably why yours didn't have one. Cheers!

With your jolt collection, you could try out the dream loadout. Put all of your jolts primed in a pouch, every time you fire one, instead of reloading, just get another jolt.
Id say a nice way to update the series could be a little homemade target range to show the blasters in action. Maybe even have an intro card where you shoot suction darts at a target that reads " Tag back!". Could even have some of the past and future tag backs mounted on racks to either side of the range with various darts in ammo boxes and such, could come up and pick which one you'd show off for that days episode. Well a thought anyway, depending on the space you have it could be made up of materials you have laying about like old nerf boxes or something.

Not gonna lie, but when I saw a 15min time stamp for the Jolt I was wondering how you were going to make it that long. Then I got the story. That's awesome. I love the Jolt as well - aka Noisy Cricket.
I found a pretty easy way to remove the air restrictor. Use a hammer and small flathead screwdriver to get the back panel off then fish out the ars and glue the panel back on. That's all. No bashing stuff to pieces

The clear green is common is here in oz, my son and I got one each, mine blue his green. I put a massive retaliator spring in but it actually decreased performance and getting the tip back on after the rivet was not fun.

i bought a bunch of used nerf guns on ebay in bulk so that i would have a bunch to mod. in that collection there were two jolt-style blasters but i didnt know the official name of them, now that ive seen this video i realize that they were those dart tag stingers that you were talking about
the clear jolts are the best because they 1, look amazing 2,its a jolt and 3,those annoying orange tip they put on newer models are easier by far to remove
The original orange Jolt is still my favorite due to the fact that orange is my favorite color and it doesn't have the dumb nub on the tip. (Plus, there's nostalgia.)
A jolt holster, never thought of that. I like jolts, I usually have one for Nerf wars, they're underated and I wish people would understand their potential to be even better
as is, jolts are great, but they could be even better with some modifications, plus with people's skill at modifying blasters, I vet someone could make a killer jolt that gets insane performance
Lars Van Den Broek the jolt gets pretty good performance when in stock form so if someone added a really good spring and maybe a new plunger rod, it would get even better performance
Garrett Gaikowski the plunger rod wont change anything, you can add a spring (what ive done) or use another spring and you can increase the seal but because of the small air volume it wont get great ranges
I keep thinking of buying a jolt but I just cant bring myself to do it when I have other better one shot blasters like the nitefinder and firestrike... I still want one though.

Inistrad is back with anew block. The sets are shadows over Inistrad and eldritch moon. You have emrakul, lilianna, tameo, jace, sorin etc. I would love to see some videos on Magic and you don't even have to do it on this channel.

we play a game called VIP and a fast guy with two jolts is always a freaking terror. the best blaster for a speed gunner to have.

I personally love the Jolt for all the reasons you stated. It's a perfect way to grab a friend's attention when in a d&d (or mtg) game.
On the Jolt holsters, I suggest dye them orange, smooth the edges out with a low heat soldering iron or wood burner.

There is a way(kind of like a finger gun) to palm a jolt so it looks like you have turned your hand into a nerf blaster.
