Ah,that childhood game hooked me into this franchise Shadroth have to be one of the badass Dragon boss I have seen in Video game, his background as monster'creator make him even better to me
the selling point for the dragon quest games for me at least has always been the monsters, for some unknown reason i hate the combat in this game but i love the monsters
@@montelhelem8707 oh i hate turn based combat in general but i kinda like it in monsters games, like the dragon quest monsters subseries, i just enjoy variety, i even started to learn japanese just to play the 3ds games of dragon quest monsters
I think that the biggest difference with DQ Heroes compared to other Musou games is that in almost all Musou games, the smaller enemies are just foot soldiers. In DQH, they're all unique monsters with their own special attacks and weaknesses. In DQH 2, there's also free roam + the ability to play as said monsters. However, you don't have standard battles like in Musou games(going from base to base and beating officers), as it still keeps that feeling of being a JRPG.

Trust me it's a breath of fresh air from the usual turn base the series has.

What makes DQ heroes different from the other musou? The licensed ones generally have something different.

The enemies look identical to the builders enemies
Agreed
I wouldn't put it past them recycling them tbh, saves time and money to use already nice looking assets
Why is this game along with its sequel not available on Nintendo Switch in Europe or America?

I don't blame you. Musou games are lame.
