hi everyone, a little confusing but i didn't *choose* these horses, they were the only ones provided in the "legendary tb pack" so pls know that i wanted to do more but couldn't. on the search for accurate racehorse remakes!

no one talks about Farlap... he was the most famous horse in Australia for his size, speed, his giant heart and his tragic death and here we are not talking about him...
I loved Farlap! That and Barbaro, both were some of my favorites :D
Phar Lap. And he was a force of nature for sure.
Phar lap was so young tho.. it's so sad.
Ruffian's story really made me dislike horse racing. She was far to young to be doing races like that but people are selfish. She would have been a great racer if people hadn't been so clueless. But either way this video was amazing!
War Admiral also won the triple crown, that’s a huge feat in racing! Only 13 horses have ever won the triple crown. That’s why the match race was requested: Seabiscuit the best 3 year old in the west, War Admiral the best 3 year old in the east. Seabiscuit is also one of the best movies ever if you haven’t seen it lol. If you liked Secretariat you’ll definitely like Seabiscuit, much more realistic, nowhere near as cheesy lol
The coats were really well done. Secretariat is probably the one that I like the most, but every bay in there looked just as good and I actually really love bays. ^u^
Also, 100's of horses die each year in these derbies because they're typically raced way too young (3 & 4 years old) when their bones haven't fully fused and stabilized. Many horses break their legs in half and have to be put down right on the track. Not too many owners actually care about their horses, ya know. Most horses go to slaughter if they can't get enough wins or get hurt. The owners will just take the insurance money without a care for what happened to their horse.
But if racing was done right, then we wouldn't see so many derby horse deaths. If people actually cared, that is. 5 year old horses have fully fused bones and such, but anything below that and you may put too much stress on them, ending their life too short. I wish that more owners and jockey's were much more caring for their horses, too.
Races in todays world are extremely abusive, horses shouldn’t be ridden until their legs and backs are fused and people break them in quarter to 2. Crazy to me how they’re shocked about the deaths on the track with the biology behind horses being broken in too young 😅
I have always always always been a zenyatta fan. She was my obsession horse! Watching her races still gives me goosebumps!
Same here!! I loved that she was so tall and her coat is so pretty. And watching her hang out in the back and just absolutely crush it running from the back, she made it look easy. I have her Breyer model still and I refuse to let it go.

I think I would love Black Caviar, Winx or Frankel, Phar Lap would be beautiful. Barbaro so I can pretend he's happy and healthy racing around the ol' west instead of his tragic end. Also while not on the level of the others.... More famed for her looks then groundbreaking runs... Sodashi

I hope you realise a lot of race horses get treated better than you imagine, but of course racing is only harmful when the rider makes it harmful.

@@mileydoherty7804 okay? most of the time these deaths are accidental and sometimes its because of an abusive owner, but it should be common sense to know that most racehorses have better lives than us ruffians will ever have.

maybe because I’m french but Jappeloup as such an important place in my heart, he was such a great horse with a big heart. He was a jumper and not a racer but I still think he was one of the greatest horses of all time 🤍
