  • Video #2 about this LM4 LS swap. Ran into some issues since the last video but found solutions and it’s getting close to complete.

    I cut and tug welded the original oil pans. I used twin 6.0s in my 1976 bounty. Can’t say enough about the 6.0s. Lots of work but enjoying the results now

      Yeah I was thinking cutting and welding the GM Performance oil pans would be needed if they didn’t fit. It was close but they did. Those LM4 AWD pans are a disaster with all kinds of webbing and the filter in the center. Would have been impossible to get those to fit with the way the bilge is supported.
      Happy to hear your twin 6.0 worked out. The 5.3 in mine have been great. We go to the lake multiple times a week now. They work good! Went with the 5.3 to try to keep torque down as my Alpha Gen 1 drives are not very strong.
