The guitar solo never gets old! Its rated as one of the best of all time for a reason…. Not because its the most technical or shreddy (although it has some of those elements); but rather, because it supports the ethos of the song in its entirety! It speaks emotions that there simply are no words for! Myles has the first part, which is all longing and despair and is similar to a David Gilmour style, while Mark has the second part which is anger and crying out - almost lashing out at the senselessness of loss. Beautiful piece of music.
Alter bridge are so epic I see them whenever they come to the UK live they are different class , Myles is a great guitarist in his own right and mark not only is lead guitar he has an amazing voice too just listen to words darker than their wings live from the royal Albert hall to discover that 🙂 . No need to apologise for the boss wanting in 😺 glad you loved the song it's iconic to us alter bridge fans . Seeing iron maiden on Saturday I can't wait 🤘

@@thebest3921 Not everyone wants to see us play one song. we’re not all sheep,. people are programmed to just wanna hear a certain bsong cos everyone else tells them it’s great and they go with the flow. it’s part of our humanity to want to belong, to be part of a crowd. We need people to start suggesting different songs because there’s so much more depth and wonders to discover if we choose to only ever listen to one band and one song the world never gets to see/hear so much more and so much better… let’s face it blackbird is a 6 out 10 song that is bumped up to a 10 when played live and you hear the fans singing along , it’s magical. But there’s so more to Alter Bridge than one good song in fact there’s many better songs they may not have the same impact when played live but there is better and they’re never given a chance. It will awesome to see Dashy and Dad to discover more Alter Bridge and that’s what it’s about - the journey of opening up your world and discovering the new instead holding on to one song and one band refusing to grow and allow their favorite band to grow.
