- Hey Everyone!!
I am a equestrian enthusiast - I love ALL things horses! I barrel race, jump, ride bareback, trail ride - you name it, I'll try it! Also, I am a farmer at heart! I love raising livestock - especially cattle and lambs! Thanks for taking the time to check out my channel!

Very good looking animal, looks like you put a lot of effort into it. 2021 was my first year showing an I won first in my class and in showmanship. Keep working hard love your work.
great job! i do know that you posted this a year ago and i haven’t seen any other of your videos but pointer for you, don’t start fitting then having him laying down. i recommend start fitting when you have 10 classes till your class and once your done tie him up to stand! but great job

I’m super happy I finally found a TH-camr that shows livestock, especially because I show sheep and cattle too. Keep up the good work! I know one thing that is super satisfying is when you win Grand Champion and he comes up and slaps your animals back. 😂
I got 4th with lamb at county today in my class and did bad at showmanship tommrow is my pig show wish me luck

It went really well I got 1st in my market class and 2nd in showmanship are you going to go to another lamb one as well?
I show steers the best advice I can give is when you fit your steer don’t let them lay down like that but see what class your in do it couple of class before you so he can look fresh but he looks good

Great job, all your hard work with the cows really showed! Where did you get your ear tags from? They look so cool I’d love to get a couple for some of our cows!

Do you have any tips on walking my cow so I have an angus heifer and she throws her head around and she hits me but I walk her everyday?
I would try a cruise control halter! They are really helpful with head control :)
@@DaniTheHorseGirl thank you because I have always shown Holsteins and they never are heady.
As suggested cruise control halter, although I'd be careful using one of those. They can be quite rough. I suggest walking her a lot more often and picking a scolding sound. Sometimes i use my hand to lightly tap them on the nose as a scold, and scratch when they behave. Often, cows can be pushy and need to be taught that they can't be pushy, and then they can be your friend. They're big animals, a small tap isn't going to hurt them. It's hard when they're 600+ pounds and you're less than half their weight. They need to be cooperative with ya :)
