Can you please make a video riding your lambs and goats? I think it's funny and it would be nice to see if they can carry you 😄

Goats and sheep cannot be ridden. It would be fine to have a small child sit on their back, 30-20 lbs depending on the animal. Not ridden though. Someone larger than this would injure the animal. :)

You should put these kind of videos on select livestock!!

How come you use a show halter not a show collar for your goat?

They are a lot more popular right now, my goat also performs better with them. :)

I wonder how obvious my bias towards Casey is lol. From the incredibly little I know about goat and sheep you looked great, Tate was just being quirky with his little hops!

5:06 why is the kid in the blue shirt picking up the whole front of the goat off the ground? Genuine question I don't know anything about showing livestock.

Thats how some people get the front feet set but I just move them with my hand 😊

I’ve seen people do the same thing, but I show lambs I just slightly lift mine up and then set them back down. That helps me make sure the feet are set properly at the front and then I worry about setting the back legs. At county fair we aren’t allowed to fully lift the animal off the ground the fair people are big on “all fours on the floor”. They need to be set so the judge can see the muscle definition and a good profile view of the animal. it’s mostly about structure, and the way the animal handles, the animal needs to be fresh to the touch and shouldn’t have too much cover. The animal should also weigh enough to suit its body frame. 😁

There are acouple reasons people do that, one is to set their front feet. I do this with my goat. The reason he is lifting the goat is to show off his muscle. This just enhanced the brace. :)
