In Indonesia at the moment there are many discussions about the validity of the claim of descendance of the habaib. The main contributor of which are the sudden and rapid increase of people who claim to be habaib. How some of them have questionable behaviours are also a factor in raising doubts. Could you do a lecture on the validity of these claims of descendance? Thank you.

Masalahnya di Indonesia, mereka tidak mengkaji sejarah. Ba Alawi, keluarganya besar.

@@yojan9238If you are unaware of the issue, it's better to first ask the Indonesian people, who are more familiar with its origins.
Chronology: A certain Habib told his congregation that Wali Songo had no descendants. In response, the descendants of Wali Songo reacted strongly, stating that the Habib's claim was incorrect and arrogant. They then presented documents and books as evidence proving that they are indeed legitimate descendants of Wali Songo, who are confirmed to be descendants of the Prophet Muhammad.
It's important to note that Wali Songo (the Nine Saints) were nine individuals who spread Islam in Java. They are not Ba'alawi; they are true descendants of the Prophet Muhammad. They married local residents, and their descendants became leaders in various regions. They also fought against colonial rule. Their lineage was hidden because they were considered enemies by the colonizers. To this day, their lineage is officially recorded. In fact, a friend of mine is a 17th-generation descendant of one of the Wali Songo in Indonesia, and his lineage is officially documented. Remember, they are not Ba'alawi.
The Ba'alawi came to Indonesia in the 1900s, after many Indonesians had already converted to Islam. Note that Islam first came to Indonesia in the Samudra Pasai Kingdom, and then it was spread by Wali Songo between the 1200s and 1400s.
Fact: One Ba'alawi family took a DNA test, and the results showed that they are actually of Jewish descent. This was posted on social media and went viral.
The ancestor of the Habib, Uthman bin Yahya, once prayed for the Dutch Queen on her birthday. Additionally, Uthman bin Yahya forbade the indigenous people from waging jihad against the colonizers, while the fighters were led by descendants of Wali Songo.

@@budidayaberuk6144 the Ba Alawi of Indonesia are legitimate descendants of the Prophet as attested by many indigenous Nusantaran ulama (KH Maimoen Zubair, KH Anwar Mansur, KH Nawawi Abdul Jalil, for example).
The whole debacle surrounding this nasab problem started from envious people who are jealous of Ba Alawi influence among lay Muslims.

How can someone, who believes in radical omnipotence, meaning Allaah is the sole actor in the world, as per the Ash'ari Creed, believe or give power to any human being?
Even fire doesn't burn without Allaah causing this quality in it, then how can these people not believe in what is the epitome of tawheed?
You are gravely mistaken, this is slander and I worry for your Aakhirah. The people of rational tawheed are the folk of Kalam, and the people of experiential tawheed are these people.

I am confused with this stuff in the below short video (if it is true as being presented)

I have read 2 books of Imam AlHaddad(RH) but they were on manners and were beautiful, I would never expect the deviation from the real.
In the video, they say "Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) gave them some new dua" that was not previously in the Shareeyah.
It didn't get down the throat.
"I am just a seeker of truth & like the 4 Madhabs but try to stay away from modern day Salafism and extremism"
"But this type of Sufism also doesn't seem to be right"?
