    You definitely must drive mostly manual cars because you had your hand on that shifter the whole time.😀

    I’ve had my Clio for 7 months and I average 5.1L / 100km. That has improved over time (from 5.3L) and I get 12.8km per kWh from the battery. This is a mixture of town and motorway driving too.

    Great review as always, which car do you prefer, this Clio or the Peugeot 208 hybrid. You speak highly of both so I’m interested which one you would purchase out of the two.

      Hi my friend 👋 Hard to say …. Probably i will get the beat price and offer and warranty 😁

      @@SDADanCars I’m 50-50 at the moment on deciding which car to purchase. I like both cars equally for the style, tech and good reviews but I guess like you said “ best price, warranty” on the day will seal the deal. I’ve been looking at the new MG3 hybrid+ but at the moment there’s a few bad reviews on it. I’m waiting to see what you think of it when you get your hands on an MG3 and review it. 😄👍🏻

      @@tonyclee1969 I'm also considering Clio vs 208 Hybrid. I love the design of 208 way more. I'm almost in love with the 208. However the reliability of 1.2 pure tech is more than concerning, even though they fixed some issues over the years, there are still many issues that cannot be fixed as engine is flawed by it's design and that's the only reason I'm looking at Clio.

      @wowa6666 I agree, I'm edging more for the clio myself with a back up car being the new MG3 hybrid+ if I can't get a good deal on a clio.

    Does it make any sounds in the city electric mode? If not, does it have a pedestrian warning sound like full e cars?

    Clio good car. I have driven Clio 4 and it is pretty good car and for city and even for highway too. Pretty comfortable (especially in high config). I remember about this car with good emotions.
    But now I like more SUV. So… Clio sorry😅 But honestly I wanted to say this: in last few years I spent a lot of time in travels, like nomad and I driven a lot of different cars, cheap and not, small and big… and for me it is not so matter what exactly car do you have. Important to have a car and have good emotions from it in your location, in your situations, in your life. Enjoy your cars guys, love your cars!

    Doesn’t the new full hybrid 145 have an 8 speed? Because if you go to the Dutch Renault site it says it has an 8 speed automatic sequential transmission? But in your videos you say it has an 4+2 transmission?

    • @KarmaOTS
      @KarmaOTS 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it has 15 speeds, electric engine and petrol engine mix toghether to ''create'' this combinations of gearing, the stick itself has D wich is the normal drive mode and the B, you use this one just when coming down hills to recharge the battery and have sorta an engine braking

      The Renault UK website says it's a 4 speed gearbox with 2 aditional motors. This is a very simple gearbox, it's almost like an automatic manual 4 speed, but that's why some reviewers will say it tends to rev too high, doesn't have enough speeds to keep them low.

    • @axeloord8741
      @axeloord8741 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KarmaOTS yeah i figured, i think the Dutch market gets a different transmission. I was at the Renault dealership the other day, and he told me that it has an 5 speed combustion transmission and a 3 speed electric motor transmission.

      I drive the car for half a year now, and it does feel more like 4+2 honestly. You've got the electric starter motor that drives the car from 0-30km/h usually. After that it's a combination of electric and petrol. You can cleary feel the "gear shifts". From 0-30 > 30-70 > 70-120 > 120-180 (if you floor the accelerator). Also in sports mode it seems to always shift at 120km/h. Same goes for around 70 in both sport and my sense. If you drive normally it differs from the speed, but it feels around the same speeds all the time. But you definitely notice the 4 gears for the petrol engine. Combined with an electric starter motor and a normal electric motor. (4+2 or 4+1+1)

    But that was not so much like City driving, since you've rolled pretty much all the time, City driving would be like stuck in bottle - necks, 5 - 7 meters and again stopping, that was not so relevant !
