From Last.fm database : Art of Parties formed in the early 80s, getting their name from Japan’s “The Art of Parties” (from the “Tin Drum” album). Original members: Pantelis Vassilakis (vocals, guitars - credited as Andy in the Last Time / Central Room single), Dimitris Vassilakis (vocals, bass, keys - credited as James), Thanassis Economou (guitars - credited as Adam), and Kostas Kiriakidis (drums).

Um, I'm surprised if it hasn't been asked already, but...where do you get the idea they were a "Greek new wave band"? The amazingly talented and gorgeous Mick Karn was Greek, but they were a British band. Although new wave is not "wrong," I find it hard to describe them correctly in one word.

You only have to look at the picture to see they were influenced by Japan..his voice sounds a bit like Morten Harket from Aha..

It seems to me you're confusing them with Japan, my friend:) Mich Karn was in Japan. This group took their name from the Japan song
ΤΙ ΚΟΜΜΑΤΑΡΑ .........
I don't think I even bothered to read the comments when I originally wrote that, so I see the error now. I'm not a British know-it-all.
Last pipe 😂
With a name like that, these guys must have been influenced by Japan.
Why you say so ?
