The architecture is much better than in both Edmonton or Calgary, many nice older buildings, has some grit to it.

I lived there for almost 3 years before moving to Calgary. Such a great city! I miss it a lot, except the endless winters 😂

I've lived in Winnipeg almost 46 years now. I will tell you the positive things about Winnipeg. Real Estate is still cheap. Barely any traffic compared to bigger cities in Canada. If you have family here, good to visit them. Some communities are close. Slow pace....that's about it. If you are a young person who just graduated high school looking to go to University and explore new things as a young person, there's not much to do or opportunity here in Winnipeg. Either than going to The Forks, The Exchange, Polo Park or St. Vital Mall...that's it. And DO NOT go near or swim in the Red River in Winnipeg...it is NOT anything like the Bow River in Calgary. And DO NOT walk around vlogging in certain areas in Winnipeg. It is not the same as walking around downtown Calgary. I really do enjoy watching your vlogs in Calgary!

My in laws and families live just outside Winnipeg so I've been there. Terrible in the winter. Windy Winnipeg.

The standard phrase is that I lived there for so many years until I moved to Calgary. And all because Winnipeg is an absolutely faceless city and many people move from there to Calgary.
