Manitoba is the best for camping, hunting , and fishing . So many beautiful Lakes , I believe Manitoba has the most lakes in the whole world in an area its size.
Great job guys! I am from Brazil living in Winnipeg for a year and I am impressed that there are not many TV materials / videos about things to do in Manitoba. There are lots of nature activity and provincial parks!
We get Northern Lights in Winnipeg too. I once lay on a concrete driveway for 40 minutes watching the lights dancing above. Spectacular! Also, Grand Beach is 100 km North of Winnipeg - it's one of many beaches along Lake Winnipeg and has 3 km of fine, white sand. We also have Bison - both plains bison and wood bison; three mountain ranges (though not as high as others in Canada), Duck Mountain, the Pembina Mountains, and the Porcupine Mountains; Narcisse Snake Dens (winter home to tens of thousands of red-sided garter snakes); 92 Provincial Parks (boreal forests, prairie parklands, historic sites, sandy beaches, lakes and streams); Churchill includes wild polar bears and wolves; International Peace Garden; Bird's Hill Park; and in Winnipeg, the largest urban forest in Canada - Assiniboine Forest.
beautiful video. I particularly was moved by the beluga wales and the sunset videos. Thanks again for sharing. I will do some search on the lazy bear company.
Thanks Dears. You are wonderful. Your videos are up to the mark. You set very high bar for other travelers vlogs. I would request one thing that please add more details in your activities.
would also suggest going to Selkirk to see the ships on the shore, the Canadian Mint, and many more. there is a small castle to waterfalls. it is crazy as there is just to much to do in one province
I live right by the “Selkirk marine museum” it’s honestly nothing special, lower fort garry is where it’s at! Lol also located in selkirk! I wonder why they didn’t go to gimli harbour?
It's a great place to see them for sure. However, keep in mind that closer to winter is better because it gets darker. So maybe during polar bear season, October to November, would be much better than July and August.
I would like to know where you camped on your way across Canada please. Looking to do our own cross canada trip this year and would love campground recommendations.
I wish I would’ve known about the Centre of Canada sign!! 😭 I’m on a cross country road trip and that would’ve been such a cool place to stop. Especially since I mentioned being about halfway through Canada while in Winnipeg.

@@MustDoCanada apparently over 110000! world class catfishing within a stones throw of winnipeg; not to mention 30 species of game fish to target, and piles of wilderness adventures to be had

Clear Lake is so beautiful, Minnedosa has amazing activities, Killarney has a beautiful beach, Virden has the best Ice cream shop, Brandon has some amazing downtown shops, Elkhorn has a cool auto museum. Just to name a few. Travel Manitoba has a great TH-cam channel that also lists a bunch of places to go. Caves, Lakes, snake dens, beaches, Sandhills, museums, CountryFest, oh the list keeps going :) More then even I knew of. I can’t wait to explore more this summer. Hopefully covid can take a backseat soon :)
Awesome video, with great footage! As a student learning to make videos and studying Social Media Marketing, I'm curious what program was used to edit the video?
I'm in Winnipeg, going to CDI College. Adobe Premiere is what I thought, I'd love to get back into using that software, it's been so long! I was looking, (and will look more), but do you use a company to produce / edit the videos? There are so many places I want to see in Canada, and your videos are perfect to help me pick me next travel spot! THANK YOU!!
Yeah, it seems to be the one everyone uses now. We do our own videos, my wife and I, but for this particular trip, we hired a friend who does videography. That way we can both be on the camera and focus on other things, such as writing articles, photography, and marketing. But all the videos that are not the "Road to 150" were done by us
I don't remember exactly now, but no, not nuclear. It was something to do with the military back during the cold war era. Maybe to monitor attacks or missiles or something like that.....
There’s a little black bear at the end, but no polar bears?!?! I would’ve been on edge sleeping outside after roasting marshmallows under the Churchill stars! I’m surprised nobody got mauled by a polar bear!!!
haha yeah, I think it started in Portland, Oregon. I must say though, if you actually want to do yoga, it's not the best way to concentrate. I'd prefer to separate the two. Spend time with the animals and then go to yoga in a quiet setting )
A lot of No kill farm animal rescue places have had to find ways to make income. This is the perfect fit. I'm not into yoga, but had a great time petting the various animals you don't usually get so close to. And comon Bob....yoga pants. Nuff said.
