@@maddawg8164 Too many touches to go around in that offense. Amon Ra is a stud, but just compare him to what is going on in Dallas. Lamb has no competition for targets and no rushing game to hold back the pass volume. The Lions want to run first, and if the defense takes a step forward they may have more leads and lean on the run more. There's only so many targets and TDs to go around. Laporta, Gibbs, Monty, who knows what Jameson Williams is going to be. Amon Ra is an absolute wrecking crew and I can see a world where he's a top 3 WR, but I don't see how he leap frogs Lamb and Hill without injury too one of them. I think WR3-WR6 is a very reasonable expectation for him.
The Denver Broncos will be this years suprise team. - There defense and o line will both be top 5 in the league. -Bo nix (who gave up the least amount of turn over and sacks, and who had the highest passing completion rate, and most experience in college) will be this year's boom rookie QB - Jaleel Mcgliughlin will be sean paytons next Alvin kamara - courtland Sutton will continue to prove he's the NFLs most under rated WR - and they will have solid roll players like Troy Franklin, Marvin mims, and javonte William's
@TheFrothyBrew I actually also think Jayden Reed is the WR3. I had him on my dynasty team and he's the undersized gadget player in the offense. While he's much better than a Rondale Moore type and maybe closer to a Brandon Cooks type, a healthy Watson and Doubs are the WR1 and 2 on the team. Both in volume, talent, and big plays. And thats not even factoring in Wicks also being a viable WR. On a team loaded with weapons at WR, RB, and TE I see Jordan Love as the one you want. But I don't see the Reed is the clear number one and the guy you want narrative that seems to be popular.
As a Vikings fan, I think a lot of us are just waiting to see how we develop this year and are not stressing being contenders or not. Hopefully, we take the division back within the next couple of years or so.
I like the idea too but honestly if I was a participant in that draft outaide of the hosts I would not be a fan of the idea. Let them have their private life
Kind of wild to see Love get hype as a pocket passer (200 rushing yards, so not really a rusher) who was good on a pretty good offense that ranked 23rd in rushing TDs but Tua and Goff get no hype as also pocket passers who were good on excellent offenses that both ranked 1st in rushing TDs. If you're betting on Love you're hoping for a 35+ TD season, which is the same thing you're doing for all pocket passers. But you can get Tua and Goff a round or two later and reasonably expect some TD regression to bounce their way instead of to their RBs. Whereas a newly acquired Josh Jacobs could reasonably eat into Love's TDs.
Vikings fan so I’m a bit biased…. This is the best offense for a rookie QB to get plugged into (including the bears) and now you swap Kirk for Darnold and Jones for Mattison. Still have the best WR in football, a great #2 in Addison. A top 5 TE in Hockenson, bookend Tackles… am I missing something where this offense is just supposed to drop off the face of the earth? Team almost made the playoffs with Josh Dobbs and Nick Mullens
Lions better by miles and so are the Packers. You lost your best defensive player in Hunter, hock will miss half the season and Detroit only got better after they traded him, and QBs are awful. JJ should have been a 3rd rounder at best and no one else wanted Sam Darnold. I bet the bears finish ahead of Minnesota and Vikings will be worst team in NFC
The peas and thank you bit was funny, but not nearly as legendary as Andy’s turkey call from Thursday mock draft episode. I replayed that five times and it got better every time! Takeaway: mistakes can be hilarious!
Dude I totally disagree with the notion that the Seahawks defense is gonna be doodoo this year lol, and I'm not a Seattle fan. They don't have any superstars outside of (probably) Witherspoon, but they look pretty darn talented to me. Witherspoon and Woolen is a REALLY good CB duo. Adding Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy to that interior is NASTY, and should really help Nwosu and Mafe off the edge. The line also has a lot of quality depth with Jones, Reed, Taylor, Hall, and Hankins. I even like the Jerome Baker addition, as a coverage-oriented LB. They are a little weak at safety since I'm not a huge fan of Love or Jenkins, and their LB depth is pretty bad. But outside of that this looks like a perfectly reasonable defense that could totally finish between ~12th-18th if coached well. I wouldn't really be too concerned with losing Jamal Adams or their linebackers. I think the additions of Williams, Murphy, and Baker more than make up for it.
Make that League of Record draft a video for us to watch - love to see the real thing with your whole crew! You would get a lot of views for that. Hey Mike - Amon-Ra needs a "Here Comes The Sun" Beatles drop - make it so! btw, the Jordan Love-Jayden Reed stack literally won me 2 Dynasty championships last season with their week 17 performances.
17-0 at half will haunt me until we make a SB (if we ever do). As will the sequence that flipped the game. Dropped pick, touchdown, fumble, touchdown. 17-14 in a blink.
I am very surprised. Talking about the bears and not once mentioning Cole kmet. Yes I understand that it’s likely he finishes as te 15-18, but there is a very possible scenario where he sneaks into a mid TE 1 season on the back of TDs alone. Moore has never been a red zone guy. Allen is very solid but he has a career high of 8 tds in a season. And rome, who knows how many he will get. There is a very real scenario where in the red zone Caleb throws to the biggest target. Kmet also has shown that he can be a very useful red zone target in the past. 13 tds over the past 2 seasons, most have come in the red zone. Again I don’t think it’s likely but there is a scenario where kmet gets 8-10 tds maybe even more and sneaks in a TE 8 finish at season end. And if you miss out on the top TEs and just want dart throws, I think he is as good as any in that range to sneak into the top 10. Like I said I don’t think it’s likely but there is a realistic path to relevance. So I’m surprised he wasn’t mentioned atleast once

Completely disagree with the take that the Bears, who never once has shown themselves to be a prolific offense, being a better fantasy offense than the Vikings. Even with Mullens/Dobbs/ other QB I can't remember, the Vikings still were pass happy. Out on all of the Bears for fantasy, unless they drop considerably in the draft.

Packers probably deserve more credit for developing Love the correct way. Sat for pretty much 3 years behind a great qb in Rodgers. Rodgers sat 3 years under Favre. Pretty much had of fame qb play for 30+ years and if Love as good as he was last year it might continue. Idk why more teams don't try and follow that mould?
If you draft Keenan Allen and he's performing for you in the first half of the season, Make sure to capitalize on that and trade in before your league's deadline. His last three games of the season in the fantasy playoffs are going to be outside in Chicago and Green Bay. Keenan Allen is still a California boy. He is not going to do good in that cold. So sad that QJ just isn’t transitioning to the NFL at all. Like a fish out of water. When Williams went down and then Allen went down, QJ just wasn’t it. Turning into a huge bust for Chargers.
I’m disabled but do yoga every week. Each time my yoga therapist tells me how flexible I am. I might not be able to walk but I can effortlessly touch my toes. That’s something right?
Tennessee is going to be awful this year. They have the worst QB room, possibly the worst o-line (It ranked 32nd out of 32 teams last year) and a bunch of over the hill WRs. The only team that should be avoided more than Tennessee is New England.
love this podcast but hurts so much to hear the stroud hate when he didnt play the last two games and they use his stats as what a prolific rookie qb would be and had over 100 less attempts than love i understand it but it just sounds like youre expecting a step back from a guy that should step forward like all of the other guys hes compared to
You guys dramatically overstate the benefit of a bad defensive for offensive fantasy football success. The statistics do not back up your claims. Why do you think SEA was 32nd in time of posession lss9t year? Mostly bc they couldn't stop the run on defense. The defense couldn't get off the field. The real holy grail for fantasy is a great offense combined with a defense good enough to get off the field and give them the ball. Your comments really bothered me bc they're so completely untrue based on real statistics. Do better.

So sad that QJ just isn’t transitioning to the NFL at all. Like a fish out of water. When Williams went down and then Allen went down, QJ just wasn’t it. Turning into a huge bust for Chargers.
"Everyone plays in nuanced leagues these days." Yeah ppr, superflex, and dynasty....
If you draft Gibbs as the rb4 you're absolutely going to regret that decision every single time Montgomery plays a game. Just like last season.
This will not age well.

Walker or Jones?
I’m disabled but do yoga every week. Each time my yoga therapist tells me how flexible I am. I might not be able to walk but I can effortlessly touch my toes. That’s something right?
Tennessee is going to be awful this year. They have the worst QB room, possibly the worst o-line (It ranked 32nd out of 32 teams last year) and a bunch of over the hill WRs. The only team that should be avoided more than Tennessee is New England.

Derek Henry = Yeti the song Yeti by Goose make it happen Kyle you COWARD 😉 “Yeti he’s coming for you”
love this podcast but hurts so much to hear the stroud hate when he didnt play the last two games and they use his stats as what a prolific rookie qb would be and had over 100 less attempts than love i understand it but it just sounds like youre expecting a step back from a guy that should step forward like all of the other guys hes compared to
You guys dramatically overstate the benefit of a bad defensive for offensive fantasy football success. Do better.
Why does your video quality look worse than it used to?
