Good feeling getting back out there for a continuous run. Well done on doing it the right way. I know us running folk are always good with dishing advice but can be poor at taking it and jumping back in too early.
@@pieter7890 Always tricky - but we can not train for a couple of weeks and hardly lose any fitness, so it’s more about how you feel/if you’re well enough on the day. I’d wouldn’t make a call just yet as there’s still plenty of time! Don’t know if you’ve seen the video I did about the mistakes I made for my first marathon (London Marathon), but one of them was about being too focused on the goal time - personally I think the primary aim should be to finish your first… which may take the pressure off?

That hill is quite hard for an easy run. I often walk the last bit to keep HR down.

Im deciding if i should do my first marathon in twee weeks time. I did do the training but had a couple of bad weeks with illness🤔
