Great value option. If you;re worried about the bezel "action" and the lume: two things I've learned in my watch journey are 1) lume is overrated, it's a cute luxury but not super functional; 2) bezels often don't line up and get bumped, but we're not timing anything other than noodles on the stove. The biggest downside to this watch is the horrible tiny clasp, which can be replaced. The lug placement is also better here, it's too low on the Helm. The thickness of the Helm is also a common complaint, it is >2mm bigger than this one. The hands are gorgeous, fat and easily read. Thanks for the quick initial impression!
Ive had good luck with several Cadisons including a 62 mas homage. I'm not going on any waiting list for any watch so some of you can just go on clutching your pearls

Why is it that whenever you link to an Aliexpress watch it always tells me that that version of it can't be shipped to my address and the only ones that can are like 50% more expensive?
I bought this watch with both the white and orange dials, a fantastic deal. And they keep perfect time. Glad I did not waste time brining on a waiting list for decades to get an over priced helm.
Since Jody released the Origin, the wait times on the Helms (Vanuatu especially) seem to have dropped. I am seeing about a 3x quicker run through the Vanuatu waitlist than prior to the Origin release. I'd suggest that people have now bought the Origin and have decided to not get the Vanuatu. And to be clear, I have both and got my Vanuatu waitlist notification after receiving the Origin.
I waited 14 and 18 months for my Vanuatu and Komodo, it was well worth the wait. However, if you don't want to wait that long, I don't see a problem with this.

Unfortunately, while I want to like Cadisen, I've been repeatedly disappointed by their weak bezels. I've been looking to buy the white dial version for about 2 months now and it's been "sold out" for the whole time in the USD$65 range. No problem with the black and orange versions at that price. The link here won't ship to Canada. Some links appear to be European sales only?? Finally I relented and paid USD$100 to the "Cadisen official store".

@sz-4b0B9I Thank you! Yeah, the big brands don't care because the cheapo demographic isn't their target. I doubt whether they lose a single sale to these impostors.
There is a line, a legal one…if it’s legal you can do it, if it’s not you can’t. Ethics is not law. The only thing that matters is the law.
@@ilikewatches Not everything that is not forbidden is ok, Gary. You are old enough to know that. But now we know where you draw the line, which is quite a little more out there where I would draw it.
@@ilikewatches That may be true, but is it unheard of for watch reviewers to have ethics? I'm beginning to wonder... Or maybe ethical behavior is just a waste of time, and I'm naive and stupid.
@sz-4b0B9I yeah, that's probably true, and it's also difficult to create content with very expensive watches unless you already have a reputation in that sphere. A $50 knockoff is probably good for thousands of views, and the revenue generated far exceeds the expense of the watch, if it was actually purchased by the reviewer...
Blatant ripoff of a microbrand that is doing things super right, they should be ashamed of themselves for copying Helm. The reason why Helm has such low production is precisely because they are a very small company focusing on quality and not quantity. If you can, afford to pay $285 for the real thing, you shouldn't buy this trash copy. Cadisen goes on my never to buy list.
@@clorox1972 Helm’s production output is far from low. And they seem to have it increased from around 150 to 200 pieces per month per model. That is roughly 1200 watches per month, all individually tested to ISO standards.
In don't like the name "cadisen" but it's affordable for those who can't get a helm if its available in India , a country where you cant even buy from aliexpress . its allright .
Why it has the same cheap movements?
They make their watches in the same place cadicen does paying lower for a different name on the dial is a very sensitive decision.
These reviews are getting lazy
I am always trying to improve my content. I appreciate comments like this because it pushes me to evolve. How can the videos be better?

If you sing beatles’s song as your own - it’s a steal. If you’d try to shoot a movie about darth vader - it would be steal. If you’d right a book about boy mage living in magic school castle - it would be a steal. But somehow a copy of a watch is homage! Sorry, it’s a a real big pile of stinking BS. Homages are what they are - pesky CRIMINAL copies. There are microbrands who do their own design for same money as criminal copies you call homages. Boo.
PS. If the watch costs as much as movement alone - it probably is utter crap.
LOL. "Waffle Alert".
Just an idea but you can simply add your email address to the Helm wait list then forget about it. Two years later you will get "the call" and be given the opportunity to buy a high quality original design watch for £250 rather than waste money on this turd.
Pathetic. A homage (more like direct copy) of a microbrand.
