Transgender is being heavily pushed on youth because young people are impressionable. It's like Jazz does not accept other people's viewpoints & that's very problematic. Most parents do not want their K thru 3rd grade children being taught anything about sex outside of the home. It’s too early to introduce these concepts and concerns to very small kids who are still innocent. There are some circumstances where this is not the case but overwhelming, it is, and that needs to be respected.

I'm so glad the book got banned. It was full of harmful lies that were targeting children. There is still an ounce of hope that things will turn around and the people who did this show, including the parent, will one day go to jail for child abuse, mutilation and sterilisation of a person who could not consent.
For her surgery, she clearly gave her consent. For the rest that happened when she was a child... That's indeed more than debatable.
What's going on is the book is not being banned in libraries it's being restricted for children's reading. There should be no problem with that kind of concept, If the parents want them to read it they can withdraw from the library and read it to their child.

Edit: to clarify, if surgery ends up being the final thing tried, that's reasonable but you need to deal with the mental problems first or you'll have the same mental problems after surgery that you had before.

I used to think that Jazz's parents had taken the right decision. Now I understand that they were also groomed by the billionaire trans "health care" industry. Whenever a parent is told that it's either transition or suicide, they don't really have an option.
But they are responsible for promoting that so called "affirming care" among other kids. Jazz's book doesn't talk about sterilization and anorgasmia, or how kids are unable to consent.

None of this is grate!!! Anyone with eyes can tell Jazz is not happy. I started watching from the start. What I seen is so sad!! A (mother) that liked the attention she was getting cause she says her child is different. I wished to be a boy for years!! I am so grateful and thankful that my family didn't tell me it was normal for me to want to be a boy and I could change that!! 4yrs old is not old enough for making any decisions for their self!! Mom liked it! So sad to sacrifice her child for attention. So many people feel the same as I do. Way to go mom. I use that word very loosely when speaking about her. I was never told I was wrong for wanting to be a boy. I was told that I was made a girl and I may feel differently about it when I get older. THEY WERE RIGHT!!!!! The way I see it: sexuality should not be talked about to young children. Be it gay or straight. There is psychological proof that exposing children to sexual content before they are ready is damaging. I’d be more willing to consider it if the topic was strictly educational (no activism) and done with older children who have already developed sexual desires and characteristics. Like high school age.

I think people are just jealous of Jazz's successes, such as publishing a book and becoming a trans youth advocate. Also, attending Harvard, she is successful for just attending there.
