For this piece I didn't think of any idea beforehand, so basically I just paint and make up stuffs and shapes along the way, so you will see a lot of back and forth exploring, which is always the part I enjoy the most because of all the possibilities, and I have to decide which design to go with and which to sacrifice :P Really regret not using a higher resolution picture though.

In regards to the speed, for this video I kept at roughly 30 mins long as I do not want to speed it up way too much, so I apologize for the length of the video, or if you think its too fast, you can try slowing down the video using the youtube player, simply click the Settings - Speed - 0.5 or 0.25.
Video is sped up around 1200%, the whole thing took around 5 hours to complete, working on and off over the course of a week, let me know if you think the video is too fast! I'll upload another if you prefer.

You often decide to go with something else, which i think is really good because you don't stick to one idea. An idea can be expanded in so many different ways! Every time you come up with something else, they all look really great. Your imagination is awesome

It's only until today that this showed on my recommendations, even after seeing this art multiple times at Pinterest. It's only now I found the process, and I'm willing to try something like this!
Halo 3 ODST had such a chilling, yet somehow tense, soundtrack. It makes almost all videos better!
Also, you went through some really awsome helmet concepts, and the wings you added, for I suppose, a jetpack, where really cool aswell!
I love seeing the process behind the really realistic drawings because then you can go "oohhh thats how they did that!" The photo bashing is really cool

One of the best concept artist/painter. Wish you have some tutorial videos and tips for like what brushes you use etc, and videos that are not time-lapse but normal speed.

Another cool thing to add is more holographic images like badges on his uniform or details stuff on his gauntlet. Also, adding numbers to any of his helmet/uniform would be good becos if every police wear that, it will not be easily identify between each other and for the public assuming this is a police for public rather than special force or smth.
