Nearly 12 years ago I went to an exclusive hair salon near Knightsbridge... close to harrods. The apprentice cut my hair like this. When he finish my hair had never looked so good.... I got a few Bellissimo from Italians taking a break outside a restaurant. My hair is thick yet curly. He took the curls out. It’s feathered technique. It was the school section of the saloon, I paid very little, it took longer than usual.

there's no way a hairstylist where I live can cut those bangs. I asked mine, who I usually trust, to cut my bangs like that like a year ago and she just gave me stright thick bangs...ever since then I've been cutting my bangs on my own. I used another technique I saw on youtube, but next time I'm gonna give this a shot as well

I've seen a lot of videos using the same basic technique as this one, but all of them pale in comparison to this. You have many more important details to the cut, like cutting each section diagonally rather than straight, and furthermore, you explain the reasoning behind each step, which is just as vital as explaining the step itself. The attention to detail in this video makes the huge difference between a more choppy/blunt look and this beautiful, flowing masterpiece. Your field of work is truly an art form, and those who don't recognise that just aren't looking in the right places, because if they watched you, they would understand. This may be a bit dramatic for a bangs tutorial, but my mind goes out the window after midnight, and in my current state this video has rocked my world. So, in conclusion, I would like to thank you for giving my sleep and human interaction-deprived, quarantined self a moment of catharsis.
Edit: I reread this and my late-night self really does have a dramatic flair

My mom and I had our haircuts done by her 12 years ago when I lived in South Korea. So happy to find her in youtube! I now live in New York and we tried every single hair salon here since then but have not been able to find someone like her. Even hair stylists at local hair salons in South Korea are whole another level...

In Korean, assistant use minimum 3~4years for to be a hairstylist.

Korean hairstylists are amazing. The techniques they use is incredible and so detailed. I wish i could get a cut from you! I have never been satisified by a haircut before :( the ones where i live are not good at all.

The hairstylist here in our neighborhood doesn't care about this details..they just cut hair😒 last year i came to a hair salon because i want to have a see through bangs like most korean have but before that i asked the stylist if it would suit to my round face but she didn't bother responding to me she just cut my hair so fast and i ended up looking weird..at first my bangs are thick so i asked her to thin it out and she did but it got shorter so..😐😑yeah

I cut my bangs myself now. It's so easy. There's no point in paying someone, especially when they probably won't understand what you want
i mean u get what u pay for. if u just go to a local barber or local salon ofc they will do that. you need to go to an actual professional hair salon

Last year I decided to get see-through bangs but what I got was an awful and very hard to manage bangs. Today, one year later, I decided to follow this tutorial and wow! Of course the result is not as one of a professional but I think I did a pretty decent job. Amazing tutorial
I really really love Korean hairstyles they look great makes you look young, beautiful and gives your hair volume. It really changes your face in a good way. Even tho I am in western country bleached hair or any wester hairstyle interest me. I love this type a lot

긴머리 셋팅펌인데 앞머리는 윗입술까지 오는 기장에 옆가르마, 왼쪽이80%+오른쪽20%인 머린데ㅎㅎ중간가르마 하시듯 옆가르마도 알려주신대로 사선으로 하면되겠죠?머리가 빨리 자라는편이라 앞머린 항상 집에서 대충 잘랐었거든요ㅠ양이많은 왼쪽이 많이 경사가 질꺼같아 걱정은되지만 넘기는 방향으로 사선으로 잘라준단건 엄청난 꿀팁이네요 감사합니다ㅜ모델분 뒷머리부터 너무 이쁘게 잘라놓으셔서 끝까지 시청하게됐네요^^

yes!! i'm planning to try this out too!! I recommend cutting less than she did at first and then slowly cutting the hair to whatever length you want since that way if you regret half way or mess up you still have a lot of the hair left!!

Some one try it on wavy-curly hair. If no one does before me I suppose I'll just do it and post the results. My hair is 2b-2c-3a. (I have a lot of patterns, very unruly).
Last year I tried to take a little bit of hair in the front and just cut it and it didn’t look good. Now it has grown out almost until my shoulders and I want to cut side bangs but I’m scared
