@@lev_d_aya304 Well when people refer to a 'perfect' they mean that it's unusual that someone or something would be that perfect, in this case it's a circle, Dank Memester means that Jazza casually draws something similar to a computer drawn circle, since it looks really good, and yeah I do agree that perfect is not a real thing it's really just a way of describing how good things are.

A wendigo is part of Native American folklore. It is the creature those who must resort to eating human flesh turn into as they start to crave it. The bulky sketch would not have worked as it is related to starvation. But since you had noooo idea what a wendigo was, this is an outstanding piece of art!
The intelligence
An interesting concept. But Jazza did specify that the eating of the flesh turns them into a monster who becomes greedy for flesh. So that misunderstanding could be where they diversify. However having seen Until Dawn play throughs I totally understand where you're coming from.
Also twitch voted for the design. So that's probably why it ended up so diverse from the starting idea. Also skinny designs featured in the design stage.
There is more to Wendigos than what is known to humans, so it could work out. But that's all I'll say.

Fun fact about Wendigos; They eat mostly human, and they capture their prey in the spring-fall months. They mostly preserve their catches a little bit like we preserve jam. They almost always reside in the woods in colder climates such as Wisconsin or Canada. Their only known weakness is fire.
They can also be summoned simply by saying their name.

i suggested the wendigo in the stream because i knew of the wendigo from my canadian family history, but until dawn was used as a reference when he was looking for the humanoid styles. the original wendigo is more deer like
+Blaccat8 they use a deer like figure in the game at one point, it's very quick and can be missed.
+JRipley15 they also used the deer in the herd scene: it can be interpreted as the overwhelming nature and power of the wendigo through the size of the antlers and number of stags ^^ (former literature student, reading too much into scenes)
The table was blue because it was blue!!! Haha. I have a lot of lit friends. xD
My aesthetic is how in the thumbnail the green colored pencil is held up against the red blood.

I'm glad you went with the skinnier design because Wendigos are associated with starvation and desperation. It is a intensely strong creature, but it sure as hell don't look like it is.

The Wendigo originated from Native American lore. It's the manifestation of a caniballistic person, you got that right, and if I'm not mistaken it can shapeshift into anything and lure its predators riiiiight into its mouth. Not 100% certain of this but if Supernatural teaches me anything, it's mythological creatures

Two things, 1) You're thinking of Skinwalkers/fleshgates with the whole shapeshifting thing,
2) Supernatural tends to blend multiple things into one when creating their monsters.

Cole Gu no I kind of like the first cuz wendigos are associated with starvation and canablizum and the first one really captures starvation but yet captures the Egyptian look that he was going for
The wendigo is normally and originally always shown to be skinny but immensely strong...
It however doesn't have any visible muscle so 2 wouldn't work at all.
Wendigos are incredible animistic meaning that they are so far from human after a couple of weeks that you cant even recognize them so 3 wouldn't work.
The Wendigo is said to be hunched over and extremely tall sometimes being 15 feet tall so 1 depending on height is the closest but still wouldn't work.
The wendigo is a American and Canadian story and all other sightings of "Wendigo" out side of that continent are so far from wendigo in description that they line up with other monsters.
So the Egyptian them doesn't work at all...
The story of the wendigo appears in Mexico (Rare and could just be mistakes because the wendigo only lives in the cold), The USA (Only near Canada and in cold areas), Canada (Mainly), and South America (Much more closely lines up with a different creature) this was just some things that I have heard from old stories...

I am a 15 years old girl who got really inspired by you..I mean who wouldn't you are amazing, anyway when I was like 5 Years old all I did was draw even if its just little stupid stuff but I loved drawing and building figures out of play dough and simply ever since I was a little kid Art really got to me and I was developing in my drawings until around 6th grade I started drifting away and art wasnt that interesting to me anymore *mainly because it was way too hard to practice while I had no real art teacher in my school and since am in Egypt art isn't really that important in schools* but then I started doodling and suddenly I came across your channel and you really inspired me to give drawing and art another shot and I learned the basics of it but then when I try to draw something it turns out really ugly with messed up proportions and a disfigured face so that always breaks my progress down and then I quit then I go back to give it another try so basically am stuck into this endless cycle of failure, do you have any tips for an immature beginner like me?
