God is good! praise God a building fund with an actual building being built. I'm glad to see it. I hope people realize that just because this man is famous and obviously wealthy in his own right that it still took not only the bank and investors, but the people to give as well. Kudos to this congregation of vision believers and all those affiliated with this ministry to ensure this happens. I pray to God to see it to its' completion and the needs of the people and surrounding community being met.

Praise God! I attended the very Grand Opening service in 1996, the name of the sermon that Bishop Elect Winans preached was “Let’s all go back to the old land mark”. Not knowing what their journey would be like it’s certainly befitting to the situation. Look at God!!! Hallelujah

God's true people are taken care of despite this worlds economic statuses. I'm truly glad to hear about Perfecting Church going ahead in the name of Jesus. I have passed this church many times, wondering when will the process be completed. But I've found out that, God's timing is different than our timing. To Pastor Winans; AS THE OLD SAINTS HAVE ALWAYS SAID: KEEP ON KEEPING ON. ON AUGUST 8,2024, I POINTED OUT PERFECTING CHURCH OUT TO MY WIFE, PROPHETESS JACQUELINE LYKES. SHE SAID THAT IT WAS BEAUTIFUL CHURCH.
There is hope in spite of what people are saying there is hope I want to see this church come together so let us all pray that 2026. The church will all done and we all can march in and give God the glory and praise. It’s a long time coming, thanks be to God

This is why we pay taxes! There is no way the church can be the panacea for everything wrong. According to Barnum's research, only 20% do 80% of the support in any church! No way the church can do it at 10% when the government takes 30%.
I hope they’ll be able to maintain it. I mean if it’s taking decades and miracles just to build it. 🤷🏽♂️
That's going to take alot of money to maintain. Especially in a time when the economy is crashing, and people are losing their jobs. Hope Gods in it. If He is, He'll make a way. But if He's not, going to go bad.

I really have no words to say. But with all those millions of dollars raised more should have been done by now in my mind.
stop using something that happened 16 years ago as an excuse. There were people that lost their homes and jobs in 2008 and 2009but still found another habitat and job. I'm one of them. Never made an excuse about what happened either!

This seems ridiculous. He already has a church , should have used all those millions for the affordable housing project , feeding the poor and genuine ministry .
How the Creator of All things needs anything especially "a house" is the real question.
A muli-million-dollar church building. Why wasn't the housing for seniors and low-income families done first? If it's taken 20 years to build the church, will it take another 20 years to provide housing? And I guess it's correct to assume that every family in the church is economically 'well off? I'm just asking.
This will take more than three sentences. First let me say I’m a church boy grew up in church and active in church currently. My church just built a $17 million dollar sanctuary and while it is nice I struggle with was building a new church necessary when we had a $7 million dollar church paid off. I get the need to build a bigger space if you outgrow it but my question and not judging, but is a 17 million as in my church or a 34 million dollar sanctuary in the case of perfecting necessary? I don’t know but if I had to say I would say no which is why I would agree with your statement why not build the housing first or cut the size of the church and build the church and the housing at the same time. $34 million for a church hmmmm I don’t know. Someone may say look at Lakewood Church and say how much they put into that church $100 million. But the church take in $75 million annually they don’t need a bank or a loan I think that’s the difference. Then a lot of these churches mine included are not filled to capacity. At least Lakewood is filled every service. Even on a Wednesday for Bible study. I don’t know…
I was 10 years old when this project started how is this not done? Where is the money? Highway 85 between exit 76 and 48 was expanded faster than that

@@yolandabyers3543 well from what I understand he said they had a two loans. So most likely that $17 million helped pay back two loans. And then you also have to pay workers and for parts of the building so that $17 million could possibly be gone by now. My grandfather is a builder so it’s understandable to me.
I wholeheartedly don't believe Bishop Winans would not be honest about this and I am more than positive he's not lacking $$$. His catalog alone supports him financially and he doesn't come off as a Pastor of greed. Granted 20 years is a long time, lol. But if you were Bishop Winans, what could you do differently in their situation to ensure that you're not in the same situation as them?
You watched the video? Fending fell through due to the recession. This is a $34M project. Raised $17M. $10M paid off the land and steal. $7M to bring it where it is now.

@@Bank390 I get it, but after 300 years things change. There are actual mega churches downsizing and wish they didn’t have the burden of these 9000 seat sanctuaries. Even if it’s paid for, the cost to run large cathedrals is astronomical. It’s an old model that doesn’t work anymore but to each its own.
@@TB4.0 its a real estate play. The church will be a place for concerts, plays, other events. Just like the city uses Greater Grace Temple for police graduations this will be no different.
