Man, you are so talented and inspiring. I have been watching for just a few months but am blown away by the masterpieces you create. So I tried to make a large jerk bait for my trip last week, and made it with sand paper and a box cutter. Cut some hair off of my neices doll and dyed it, but not sure about painting the bait. So I didn't use it. Stencils seem like the answer. Thanks. I used eye hooks for the joint, hook and line tie.

That will wound the fish and then they will come back for the kill. Minus the tail hook lowers the fish catch as you just experienced. Man I love this bait. Absolutely beautiful and the colors couldn’t be better. During the summer bluegill have chartreuse to their tail so you matched the hatch perfectly. I know when they are chasing, and missing the bait if you slow your retrieve down substantially they’ll be able to eat the bait better. There’s times when I’ve got to slow down to the point of essentially dragging bottom but man does it increase hookup ratios. I enjoyed the video brother, keep em coming please! Lol.

Heya, I've got a recommendation for filming the fishing parts. If you get a polarising filter for your lens you'll be able to cut out almost all the glare from the water and you'll be able to film your baits in action a lot clearer.
