I take criticism seriously and see it as an opportunity to improve. New videos are checked three times by different people including American teachers before they go live. However, this still does not guarantee that there will be absolutely zero mistakes. Some things can also be seen as mistakes by some people, but will be totally acceptable by others. As I mentioned in this video, the language is not about being perfect, it’s about speaking it. Wishing you all the best with your studies ❤️
Gal, let's move on without those who criticize you. You will always make mistakes - even as a teacher. Just adapt, improve and move on. Think of where you came from, the hardships you have undergone, the loneliness you have faced, the misunderstandings you have had to bear. Colloquial English is different from academic English. That is where you do well. So stay in your lane. The use of language is extremely dynamic. It is unlike Mathematics, where there is always a specific answer for every sum you do. You have something that your detractors do not have - the fire of your ambition, that burns brightly within you. Keep the flame burning! 😉
if you take criticism seriously, do take it. Stop making excuses. They criticize you for a good reason. You're not a teacher, you're a blogger, so you have no idea how the language works inside, you only have some experience of studying it and speaking it, and that's not the same and not enough. If you still want to do that - check your script before you make a video. Or double-check the video after you make it. All you're doing is playing a victim and blaming it on so-called haters.
Keep going Marina. I am learning a lot from you. I have never missed any of your videos since the 1st day I saw you on TH-cam.More videos to come.Godbless.
Marina, you are a great content creator here on TH-cam, the amount of passion and work you have put in to your channel is amazing, honestly I do not have the desire to do what you have done for all these years, however a blogger and an English teacher are not the same, mistakes we all make in our daily lives because we are casually speaking, however when you are teaching English and with a certain accent in your case the American accent, this needs to be done correctly and in a professional manner with real teaching skills, that is all what Liza has criticized and she is so right!, there is no need to be defensive, other than that keep up your good work!🤩👍 When are you going to create more content for your English-Russian channel??
The point of the story is not that you cannot make mistakes. The point is that people consume your products on TH-cam or courses based on the idea that you are a reliable source of learning. If you do not invest the time to check up your learning content, this is also showing that you do not really care about creating good content, but about making a lot of money out of it (which is pretty common with many viral content creators). We need to get out of this crystal generation mode and accept that pointing out a mistake in a correct and polite environment cannot be that bad.
I don’t personally know if Marina has sold products with mistakes recorded in them, if so, maybe she needs to give money back to those who have bought those defected products. Stores have to do this!!
I don't think anyone expects you to make zero mistakes as a non-native speaker. This is more about you not double checking your lessons before putting them out on TH-cam.
That's going to go against her agenda of making her desired level of money per week by devoting a set number of hours per week making videos. Checking and going back to them is going to be counter productive to making that amount of money. It's all about the money honey.
When you are an English learner it's okay for you to make mistakes but when you are a teacher and have millions of followers that learn from your content that's a whole different story
exactly! It's just not right when u make all ur videos like "don't say this!!!! don't say that!!! don't do these mistakes!!!" and it turns out in the end that u make a lot of mistakes urself and suggest the incorrect word use
You have given this example with reversed roles, it should have been: the teacher in a classroom teaching it wrong and then not wanting to admit s/he was wrong
No one says that you can’t make mistakes. You can’t make mistakes or try at least not to make them while you are teaching or selling expensive courses. There are many ways to check yourself up and to help others to speak better.
@@JohnSmith-pg9ns Why are you even defending her? She earned hundreds of thousands (maybe even more) dollars by selling overpriced and imperfect courses to learners.
@@sheevpalpatine6466 It's her business; she charges the amount she thinks her course is worth. If you can't afford it, just check other courses. Don't try to criticize. She didn't thrust a gun in anyone's ribs to force him or her to take her classes.
No one said you can't speak English without mistakes. Everyone is saying you should not be selling English courses before you have at least to educate yourself to a minimum degree. Speak English at your will, but stop making money at the expense of naive beginners.
Even native speakers make mistakes. I have made some in my vidoes. But your enthusiasm, inspiration and excitement far outweigh the minor errors. Not to mention everything you teach that is right and helpfull. One of the biggest problems that people have when learning English is being afraid of making mistakes, when actually people should be afraid of not making mistakes. If learners are not making mistakes it means they arent trying to learn new things. Keep doing what you do. 😊
You are right about SPEAKING English, however, when you market yourself as an English teacher and charge big money for your lessons it is a completely different story.
It's not about being a native speaker or a non-native speaker teacher. And it's not about being perfect, either, as nobody is. It's about being properly qualified to teach others. There is a level of language mastery one needs to achieve before he can start teaching others or call himself an expert. Teaching always comes with responsibility. That's why there are teaching exams and teaching standards all over the world - to ensure that students are taught properly. There are certain mistakes people simply cannot be making if they want to call themselves experts. Also, I think it's worth pointing out that there's a difference between a language coach and a language teacher. One can be a great language coach without necessarily having mastered the language. It doesn't work the other way round, though, as you well illustrated at the beginning of this video. We expect from teachers to be encouraging and respectful when correcting our mistakes - and rightly so. But we also expect that they uphold certain standards.
It’s ok to make mistakes when you learn English but it is not OK to make mistakes when you teach English. It’s like you teach math and you say that 2+2=5.
There's a big difference between being an English learner and being an expert or educator. The former gets to make all kinds of mistakes; the latter has a responsibility to give correct information to the millions of subscribers who trust them. Especially with calls to action like, "If you want to speak LIKE A NATIVE SPEAKER, keep watching!" "Make sure to get your notebook and WRITE THESE PHRASES DOWN!" Yes, educators are held to higher standards than learners -- how is that wrong? It's a question of ethics and what you're doing is simply unethical.
Exactly, I am one of her victims for many years till someone caught her, make me wake up. I feel sorry about my time I wasted watching nonsense of her . Sorry to myself I was a naive.
Thank you for your comment. Not making mistakes is really hard for any teacher, especially a non-native speaking. However, my team and I is working extra hard to check all the upcoming videos.
It's two completely different things: making mistakes while casually speaking english and TEACHING mistakes thereby amplifying them! Having an editor can solve such a simple issue👌
The problem according to Ohers is that you dont recognize your mistakes. and Russin's teacher says that you no prepare your program beforehand and you dont give a hoot about it.
Hey Marina I have watched so many of your videos and I also watched videos made by the teachers from the channel English for everyone... There is a saying; “You can not build a house without a foundation”. So english as any other languages there are basic grammar rules that you must master to be able to communicate without any issues and as I just got to hear you saying that you have been studying English since when you were 5 years old, makes me think. Why has she not learnt that yet to build these basic “foundations”? . In my opinion, and if I were you I would not be displaying your accomplishments, you should not try to use these things to criticise proper teachers. I have been learning English since when I was 14 today I am 33yo, I don't make these mistakes which you make and I never criticised native speakers for correcting my English mistakes actually I love when they do it, and I am.grateful for that. What you lack is humidity, be humble, get a grip and stop with this pety indirect attacks to Kevin and his partner. Learn from your own mistakes and get over it.
The problem is that you are not giving a casual conversation you are giving an English Program you must make corrections before coming up with the program.
learning english is for everyone, teaching english is not for everyone, it's for those who have the right skills to do it (whether you are native or not). As an english learner I need to trust my teacher without being afraid of learning wrong english.... an influencer can speak not good english but a teacher can't do it
The problem is not making English mistakes in life but in your videos. You are supposed to have a channel to help us learn English and you sell courses. So the least you can do is to check your videos for mistakes before you publish them. You have a team to do it so do it and don't complain
@@Klopcyna She gets her viewer without even checking the dictionary . She can make a lot of money with this. Why bother about them, just more work? She is respectless and she does sell courses aswell. Do they have less mistakes?
Incorrect english

Well , Marina i think it is okay to make mistake , but in the same time you teach people , but you make mistakes and tell us how to pronounce correctly You take such a responsibility to teach people, I think you need to treat this better, others will then make such mistakes

those two guys she's talking about ( we all probably know them , right?) don't say you should not make mistakes cuz it's not possible but teaching correct stuff is what we expect to receive from our teacher . Marina is an amazing person but she has grown too content with her language and the fact that you are comfortable doesnt mean you can post low quality videos . It's disrespectful towards your students and their time cuz correcting things that u got wrong takes a lot of time . By God , can't you just EDIT your vids before uploading em on youtube ? Imo that's what she was "called out " for by EfE .
So, with this video Marina wants to accept that she is just a girl in a pink t-shirt trying to learn English😂 Thank you for admitting your incompetence 😊 Btw, the best way to grow is to learn and make mistakes and have somebody to point out those mistakes. But not when you’re a teacher teaching other people those mistakes for money. You have quite “handful of mistakes “in your videos. Is that correct? I learned this phrase from your videos means “many”😅😂
It is ok, don't be discourage to learn. I think the issue if you are learning by yourself and admitting not observing correct grammar and or assuming it is a standard accent for a particular region, then do your thing. The other issue is when you are responsible for other people's mistakes. Like TEACHING and making income on it.
@Linguamarina416 thank you so much although I will not be able to accept a gift. You can choose someone else instead of me ❤️ Merry Christmas (December, 25th or January, 7th when ever you celebrate) and Happy New year 🎁🥳
It is ok to make mistakes during your “daily life”. It is not ok to make mistakes when you’re teaching English. You need to do your research. Finally you got called out.
And they don't even talk bad about her, all they do is correct her grammar, pronunciation, etc. She sells English couses and books; she must have someone to check her videos before she upload them at least. She's making this video about her mistakes thanks to that channel, I wouldn't even know I was learning incorrect English
Thank you Marina with glasses. You, Kevin and Liza are the best techers on TH-cam. Thank you for "inspire" me to make a lot of mistakes, and thank you Kevin and Liza for teaching me how to speak English correctly.
I gotta say, the english we really need is not even more than 70% ish of the correct way of speaking to be able to express ourselves to anyone and even for a job. A bunch of companies wanna hire someone whos able to talk minimally in english, looking specifically for someone who speaks english 100% correct would be just a waist of time. This is actually the true reallity. Noone in your daily routine will give a shit about your mistakes rather than people on enternet who doesnt have nothing better to do than maliciously persuing others. So people like Marina have been doing such a great job in her content turning all the learning process more interesting, fun, conffortable and enjoyable. We all do mistakes and soon or later we ll correct them ourselves, theres no need and no point in disqualify other teacher by pointing out mistakes that actually wont make a freacking difference in peoples lifes. Marina is more than a High-qualified teacher she represents encouragement.
As a Spanish speaker, I didn't know articles were difficult for Russian speakers. I use them naturally because they're used in my language too. I think I still mess up with vowels sometimes. We only have 5 vowels in Spanish.
You are an inspiration to so many people around the world Marina. Do not listen to the distractors and losers, and must add, the jealous type. Just do what you do best: Teaching and learning in the meantime as you go along. You're a brave and determined woman. ❤
Finally, I was waiting for this video ))) I wrote under some of your videos abt those people, who just saying that Marina teaches you wrong, and I said that you should defend yourself… of course, I’ve learned English since I was 5, and my big mistake is using the correct tenses… recently I prepared to ielts exam and sometimes was disappointed in myself… and now , it’s almost month passed after my exam, I got 6,5 overall (it was my first attempt). I was afraid of speaking part, but when I was at the exam, this woman (examiner) was so kind and positive, that my fear gone somewhere , though I realized, that without trying hundred thousand million times you won’t achieve your goals … and now I’m not afraid anymore of talking in English. I want to address this for those people, who are struggling with their fears or hesitation, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes because we are human beings , not robots !!! P.S. I’m from Uzbekistan))
Marina, I don’t know „perfect people” so don’t be upset when those „unperfect people” are talking about your unperfecion! You’re amazing just as you are :) cause you inspire me and dozens Of others :)! Cheers ❤😊
The best teachers are the ones who admit their own mistakes and encourage to not be afraid of making them, we are humans not perfect. Love you Marina, best teacher ever!! Greetings from Spain :)))))
Classy response. I'd just like to point out a couple of things about mistakes here, if I may. First, many of the mistakes English for Everyone calls out are done so in bad faith. For instance, a recent video of theirs pillories her mistake 'crave for', but within the few seconds either side of this 'mistake' she uses the correct structure three times, so this was obviously a just slip (a post-systematic error, to be precise) due to natural, spontaneous production of speech. It was pretty low to call this out. Then the pronunciation mistakes she's crucified for are sounds that don't cause misunderstanding (acceptable allophonic variation), and she's really just been criticized for having a slight accent, as everyone does. Another point I'd like to make is that English for Everyone is over-concerned with accuracy, and there are two reasons for this. The first is their method: audiolingualism. This is informed by behaviourist psychology and uses mindless repetition of isolated structures to produce accuracy. However, this method was actually discredited and abandoned in the 1960s as behavioursm was exposed as flawed and the learning method was found to be ineffective at developing real communicative competence. Still, they persist with valorising accuracy above anything else. Second Language Acquisition theory has moved on since then, and I dare say Marina's approach has more in common with modern ideas. What's going to help you more is an engaging, inspiring video, with rich language input in context, and with natural communication that displays a range of communicative competences. Any mistakes (which are actually very infrequent) should not stop you learning from a very successful learner and a highly competent communicator. The other reason they're obsessed with mistakes, I think, is that his knowledge of the language and its accurate use (as a native speaker) seems to give him power. It's easy to shoot down non-native competitors, and also easy to appeal to learners who have been made to feel ashamed of making mistakes. Please don't buy into the myths that native speakers are the best teachers and that accuracy is the only thing that matters. Finally, as Marina points out, she doesn't use articles. These morphemes are late-acquired by Russian learners of English because they don't exist in their first language. When do you think she first studied English articles? Probably within her very first few classes ever. How many times has she studied them since? Countless. Learning is not the same as acquisition. There is a certain order to the acquisition of language (L1 dependent) and Marina is proof of this. This language will come in time. Now think about your mistakes. How many times have you studied those language points? How many times have you been corrected? And you keep making the same mistakes? Now, do you think a 'Don't say this...' video is really going to help you? Its negativity will probably only shake your confidence and demotivate you. Learning a language is about much more than ´being taught´, especially being taught arbitrary, isolated language. Learning a language needs engagement, inspiration, exposure to rich natural input from which you can notice features according to your own needs, and this input should have some kind of communicative purpose and cover a range of communicative competences, not just linguistic. This sounds a lot more like Marina´s videos.
Scrolling through the comments for this video is heartbreaking. So many learners of English have been duped into thinking that communication is only about accuracy. Of course, this is what many native speaker TH-cam channels want you to think so they can sell you the illusion of a quick fix. Learning is not the same as acquisition and competence. The resulting backlash against Marina means so many of you are denying the learning possibilities her videos offer, and with this ridiculous, outdated attitude towards the supremacy of accuracy you are only hurting your own progress. Marina is a learner, just like you, and she has found a way to profiency. She's studied English linguistics in a way native speakers never do, and she's observed more hours of teachers in practice than most anglophone teachers ever have. She knows what she's doing. And let's be honest, what would you give to be able to use English like her? Like I said, don't deny yourself the learning opportunities that come from her videos
The best comment here! Unfortunately, by seeing the comments, I think that a lot of people have started unfollowing Marina just because they have seen that some mistakes are pointed out. People are obsessed with speaking like a native, to sound like a native, when it will probably take time to achieve it. Correcting mistakes is completely okay, but I feel that English for everyone is doing that in a way to belittle Marina.
@@adanvazquez5663 Good point well made. Why are they belittling Marina? What exactly is their agenda? The video English for Everyone posted with 'crave' a few days ago referenced a video of Marina's from two years back! Just how long have they spent pedantically and maliciously scouring her content for mistakes? And then, as I mentioned, this was ultimately a fail because her use of 'crave for' was a slip (she used the 'correct form at least 3 times in the few seconds around it) not an error, and was pointed out in very bad faith. Seems desperate. Do they feel threatened by a non-native teacher encroaching on their turf? Are they envious of her producing better content and achieving greater success? Sadly for learners of English, they're exploiting and propagating the myth of the supremacy of the native teacher. And, unfortunately once again, their elitist attitude isn't even backed up by pedagogically sound approaches to learning
Exactly, they are not only promoting the myth of supremacy of native speaking teachers, but also dropping the confidence of the students by indirectly making them believe that any slight mistake is something to be ashamed of. This attitude takes away the motivation for learning and causes fear of speaking.
Marina thanks you for your videos. Sometimes I feel demotivated to study English because I don't notice a big improvement faster and I think I give up, but then I remember why I decided to speak English like a native and all the things that I got around this time thanks to English.
... pero si quieres aprender a hablar inglés como una nativa (y así lo dices), debes seguir a profesores de inglés que SI sean nativos de la lengua ... eso se cae de la mata ... !!! ... es lógica elemental ... !!!

Hello Marina I 've learnt a lot with you , I love your classes cause all the time you are motivating nonnative speakers . I don't get bored listening to you about phrasal verbs , slangs and so on . The inmersion in the english world with you is fantastic . You teach many expressions in context for example you are at the airport teaching airport expressions and that is really amazing . Don't give up I 'm gonna keep on watching your videos , they are amazing and I wish you the best in 2024 . Hugs.
Of course it is ok to make mistakes. The problem here is that you are teaching incorrectly. That is not ok and it is disrespectful to your students/audience
Hi Marina! I’m from Taiwan, and I really appreciate what you have been teaching through your TH-cam channel. It’s your positivity toward making mistakes that encourages me to try to speak English publicly even though I’m still not good enough. Everyone makes mistakes, but there’s nothing important than expressing your opinion correctly even if you use wrong grammar or speak in non-native pronunciation. Again, thanks for your videos and I regain my passion for learning English because of you.❤❤❤
whaaaat that teacher has done a good job and she is not full of her self and teaching english with mistakes is not at all like speaking it with mistakes.
You know, I guess you’ll delete it, but … you didn’t get the idea of people, who told you about your mistakes and what was wrong with that. The main idea is that you sell your courses, you get money for it. And you make mistakes, you teach people English, but it’s not a proper one. You use Russian direct translation, forget about articles etc. It’s not bad when you just film your videos for TH-cam for FREE. But making mistakes in paid courses it’s insane. Of course, you can say that even natives make them, but you teach English, teach the language, it does require correct grammar and correct usage of it! I don’t know if you understand my message and the message of your “haters”, but I hope you do. Wish you luck with your path, just don’t forget keep learning and improving yourself.
You have inspired me to open my own TH-cam channel to teach English. I used to think my pronunciation had to be perfect before I could even think about start teaching other people. But the true of the matter is-I started learning English really late, as an adult. I will never be able to compare myself to someone who started as a child or teenager. We are non-native teaching other non-natives and knowing the pronunciation and grammar struggles is what makes us stand out with native teachers. Please keep up with the good work!
Here's a small problem, you LEARN English. There's the thing called language acquisition. It's basically how you learned your first language. So don't let anybody fool you that you won't be able to speak English like a native or like the ones who started learning English as kids or teens
As a non native speaker I prefer to learn from people who speak grammatically correct. Mostly from BBC Learning English and the channel English with Lucy but I love Marina's energy and her passion for the English language. She is a good role model.
It is good that Marina admits her mistakes and tries to improve herself. I hope that she will not use such dark PR names 'Speak like a native speaker' and so on
Hi Maria I am so glad you upload this video. You are definitely right. Making mistakes is just part of human beings. After these video I am feel better about my mistake. Thank you effort and you are doing great job. Love you 🥰
Hi Marina! As a non-native English teacher myself, I can relate to everything you're talking about! What Kevin and Lisa are doing is absolutely disrespectful to you, your community and every non-native English speaker worldwide. It sends the message that we should not even dare to speak English unless we're doing it impeccably. Hadar's video is extremely inspiring! She's making so many great points. This whole situation made me see what you stand for and I respect and admire you so much for your values. Being empathetic and encouraging is worth so much more than being "perfect". Stay real, stay true to your values and keep up the good work! Kevin and Lisa have so much to learn from you! Maybe you could teach them how to be less snobby and more compassionate towards others? :)
Parem de aprender dela. Ela comete uma série de erros básicos. Imaginem alguém que ensina português falar coisas como "Eu fui supermercado" ao invés de "Eu fui no supermercado". Esse é o nível dos erros que ela comete.
Love this Marina! I've also had it with those people! What they've been doing is PATHETIC. And you can tell from a mile off that they're doing it just for CLOUT. You're a leader and and role model and you deserve every bit of the success that she's garnered over the years. Keep being AWESOME! -With love from a fellow non-native content creator.
You're being criticized NOT for your mistakes, but for TEACHING wrong English. Big difference. Please, stop pretending to be a victim, it's unfair towards people who pay money for your courses and get wrong information.

Umm, marina TEACHES English here on TH-cam and a teacher shouldn't commit cardinal grammatical errors/mistakes since it will mislead English learners. If she's just sharing how she picked up the language, then it's fine. But then she's claiming herself to be qualified enough to teach people (judging by her demeanour), and therefore, expect to be scrutinised. Another thing: Kevin and Liza have NEVER criticised her imperfect English, but just pointed out the mistakes that English learners or an English teacher should never make if he/she wishes to teach other people.
@@cornwallhaven4756 It's NOT commit grammatical errors, It's TO MAKE MISTAKES OR ERRORS By the way, there's a huge difference between A MISTAKE AND ERROR Mistakes are minor slip-ups the person makes while speaking unconsciously Errors are errors the speaker makes consciously So how can you tell me to not listen to her when you're making mistakes too, You're just being brainwashed by Kevin and Liza Last but not least I invite you to fear or avoid making mistakes it'll sure help out in the long run
@@MarcoCisneros-pn7vi you can say commit an error too. Plus I'm not brainwashed lol. I couldn't care less for either of them but when you call yourself a TEACHER, please teach proper English. Marina, I recentely found your channel and I knew nothing about you. At first, I thought you were American and then I thought you were Brazilian kkkk. I was like, Marina is a Brazilian name and I think her accent is similar to my own. And yes, everybody makes mistakes in English, including those who teach English as a second language. I've been studying English for 18 years, teaching English for 13 years, and I still make mistakes and I sometimes struggle to find words when I'm speaking. Being humble to admit that, just encourages our students to continue learning English. At the end of the day, everybody just wants to be able to communicate their ideas and everybody is able to do that with or without mistakes. Thank you for inspiring us!

My first language is spanish. My language is more than a language is the biggest brotherhood ever. We have an academy that is all about the Spanish language. It is made up of intellectuals, polyglots, specialists in different disciplines, from all over the world and from all the countries where Spanish is spoken. And you know what? We are very tolerant of people who do not speak our language perfectly. And if you visit any of our countries we will be very happy if you want to speak our language. Here you will find a Spanish teacher in every speaker. because more than a lessonit is an invitation to be part of this brotherhood. And perhaps Mexico is the closest Spanish-speaking country, and if you visit it it will be even more close, because it will surely be very close to your heart.
For me Marina is not only an english teacher, she is also a very interesting person. I'm interested in watching her video when she travels, spends time with her family. I like when she perfoms. She is interesting to watch. Marina don't give up. Keep shooting your video. ☺️🙃😉✋
Is she really teaching English or just making skits? I learn English in school but i am not really good at it. I do watch English movies and the old series with Jennifer Aniston as one of the lead (Friends)? And somehow learned a lot. Now i am learning korean. I am not good at English but it is ok, i mean i am just trying to understand some things and so I am just responsible for myself because it is a different thing if i am responsible for others, I will make more effort to learn fundamentals and basics just like any career and professions where you are going to be responsible for a lot of people
I take criticism seriously and see it as an opportunity to improve.
Cut the bull. You're neither a native nor a teacher. You're just some youtuber who sells expensive courses that worth less than nothing
if you take criticism seriously, do take it.
Marina, you are a great content creator here on TH-cam, the amount of passion and work you have put in to your channel is amazing, honestly I do not have the desire to do what you have done for all these years, however a blogger and an English teacher are not the same, mistakes we all make in our daily lives because we are casually speaking, however when you are teaching English and with a certain accent in your case the American accent, this needs to be done correctly and in a professional manner with real teaching skills, that is all what Liza has criticized and she is so right!, there is no need to be defensive, other than that keep up your good work!🤩👍
When are you going to create more content for your English-Russian channel??
Indeed
Totally agree 👍
That's going to go against her agenda of making her desired level of money per week by devoting a set number of hours per week making videos. Checking and going back to them is going to be counter productive to making that amount of money.
It's all about the money honey.
Native speakers make mistakes too, and a lot of them.

The problem is that Marina does not give a shit about what you've just written
Totally agree
It’s ok to make mistakes when you learn English but it is not OK to make mistakes when you teach English. It’s like you teach math and you say that 2+2=5.
There's a big difference between being an English learner and being an expert or educator. The former gets to make all kinds of mistakes; the latter has a responsibility to give correct information to the millions of subscribers who trust them. Especially with calls to action like, "If you want to speak LIKE A NATIVE SPEAKER, keep watching!" "Make sure to get your notebook and WRITE THESE PHRASES DOWN!"
Yes, educators are held to higher standards than learners -- how is that wrong? It's a question of ethics and what you're doing is simply unethical.

Speak and teach others a correct language are 2 different things, Marina!

@Оксана Онищенко Well said!
She's been cornered.
OMG I really really love that mean teacher character, it really feels as if you were another person, you're such a good actress, amazing!
Is it even legal to criticize your competitors ? I thought, there was a law not to use competitor brand name in your ads? Or I’m wrong?
Exactly, they are not only promoting the myth of supremacy of native speaking teachers, but also dropping the confidence of the students by indirectly making them believe that any slight mistake is something to be ashamed of. This attitude takes away the motivation for learning and causes fear of speaking.
I love this teacher so much🫶🏻☺️

It's good to see that you took the feedback well and didn't just ignore them, I admire that, because a lot of people can't.
After the last video of Kevin and Lisa i finally unsubscribed from this channel and other channels of Marina. What she does is basically a scam
Марина , вы Крутая ! Именно вы вдохновляете ) А хэйтеры эти ,пиарясь за счет вас, только делают вам больше рекламы
Of course it is ok to make mistakes. The problem here is that you are teaching incorrectly. That is not ok and it is disrespectful to your students/audience
I follow you from Libya.. You are a great and beautiful teacher. Thank you for all the lessons I watched and benefited from. Thanks a lot .

You are the inspiration. Don’t give up! ❤️
Again, thanks for your videos and I regain my passion for learning English because of you.❤❤❤
whaaaat that teacher has done a good job and she is not full of her self
and teaching english with mistakes is not at all like speaking it with mistakes.
One of the best English learning TH-cam channel.
I'll always be grateful to you Marina
You have inspired me to open my own TH-cam channel to teach English. I used to think my pronunciation had to be perfect before I could even think about start teaching other people. But the true of the matter is-I started learning English really late, as an adult. I will never be able to compare myself to someone who started as a child or teenager.
We are non-native teaching other non-natives and knowing the pronunciation and grammar struggles is what makes us stand out with native teachers.
Please keep up with the good work!
you can master native like accent at whatever age you are
Here's a small problem, you LEARN English. There's the thing called language acquisition. It's basically how you learned your first language. So don't let anybody fool you that you won't be able to speak English like a native or like the ones who started learning English as kids or teens
I am proud of you for standing up to those toxic people. ❤ They’re acting like nobody will understand us if we don’t use “a/an” 😒
Are you talking about English for everyone chanel?
As a non native speaker I prefer to learn from people who speak grammatically correct. Mostly from BBC Learning English and the channel English with Lucy but I love Marina's energy and her passion for the English language. She is a good role model.
Mistakes are ok to make. However teaching incorrectly is UNACCEPTABLE.
I'm from Brazil. and you are an inspiration to me. thank you for your work
Teacher I am your big fun❤❤❤

Me too

Awkward..........😅
Love from India 🇮🇳
Hi Marina, I'm Brazilian 🇧🇷 and I'm learning a lot from you. Please continue your journey as you are an inspiration to us. Thanks!
Hi
I'm from Brazil too

Parem de aprender dela. Ela comete uma série de erros básicos. Imaginem alguém que ensina português falar coisas como "Eu fui supermercado" ao invés de "Eu fui no supermercado". Esse é o nível dos erros que ela comete.
You are learning incorrect English with her
I wish you all the best, and I hope you will continue to make such a positive impact on all people❤️
Big fan from Syria ❤️
Love this Marina! I've also had it with those people! What they've been doing is PATHETIC. And you can tell from a mile off that they're doing it just for CLOUT.
You're a leader and and role model and you deserve every bit of the success that she's garnered over the years.
Keep being AWESOME!
-With love from a fellow non-native content creator.
Молодец лизнул
Which people? Do you mean English for everyone chanel? Actually they pointed out some good mistakes
Lot's of love from Bangladesh. 🇧🇩
When she said 🇮🇳 accent
I was like 😲 what the hell!
I ❤ you marina Thankyou so much !🥰
You're being criticized NOT for your mistakes, but for TEACHING wrong English. Big difference. Please, stop pretending to be a victim, it's unfair towards people who pay money for your courses and get wrong information.
Huge fan of yours

omg ! marina your expressions as a teacher i literally just cracked out after watching that . please don't get upset by those criticism and just remember that by your work alot of non native speaker just like me get motivation to keep learning further without getting demotivated .. . you are the backbone so keep your energy with you and keep teaching ❤you gave us the confidence to come up and speak . i always learn a lot from you so please keep going 💟 love you from India💫💫
@@messi_forever_9 yeah sure!
Your speaking style is very energetic that I start to speak automatically after listening to you.
I'm glad how your not giving up on learning English despite the criticism by many people and those two people Kevin and Liza
English for everyone chanel actually raised Important questions.
@@cornwallhaven4756 It's NOT commit grammatical errors, It's TO MAKE MISTAKES OR ERRORS
By the way, there's a huge difference between A MISTAKE AND ERROR
Mistakes are minor slip-ups the person makes while speaking unconsciously
Errors are errors the speaker makes consciously
So how can you tell me to not listen to her when you're making mistakes too, You're just being brainwashed by Kevin and Liza
Last but not least I invite you to fear or avoid making mistakes it'll sure help out in the long run
@@MarcoCisneros-pn7vi you can say commit an error too. Plus I'm not brainwashed lol. I couldn't care less for either of them but when you call yourself a TEACHER, please teach proper English. Also, before she posts anything up online, she should have consulted other English native speakers. But i guess she lets her ego get the best of her.
Iam an Egyptian student, my major is English and you help me a lot ♥️🥺
Assalamualaikum! Im from india!
The best teacher & best motivation for my English journey ever had in my life is U teacher 😍♥️👍 Thanks a lot Respect forever 👍
I was glad to watch this video. It was pretty interesting and awesome.
I don't know what I do mistakes. I still find out my mistakes. I hope can overcome my mistakes with your help. You're an energetic and positive person reason for your smile. Thank you a lot.
You’re perfect! I’m from Brazil and I love you! You have been teaching me so much ❤️
The unfriendly teacher character is great!!You are a good teacher!! Thank you!!
Don’t be a teacher if you make a lot of mistakes.
