waiting for the covid cases to show up and only then requiring masks is an absolutely clownshoes approach to safety, but I guess that’s just the world we live in right now good luck in round 4, hope you knock this tournament out of the park!
@@paulk9534 everyone should be concerned about covid. anyone, no matter how healthy, can suffer long-term disability from covid, and even if you aren’t at higher risk yourself, you can easily pass it on to someone who is, maybe even a loved one.
to make matters worse, the PCR tests have a high false positive rate. so if you're going to worry enough to test people, you might as well just go full lockdown from the start and not have the in-person event at all.
Isn't Covid endemic by now? Requiring masks by default seems excessive. Where I live it's not even a reason to stay home from work anymore, if you're unsymptomatic.
Good luck in round 4, Nick! We're rooting for you!
I won!

Good luck on round 4! Attack those weak groups!
This event has been a disorganized mess, now COVID. I was gonna go but cancelled today. Shame. Also way too expensive.
Crush em Nick! Show em how it's done
if they're worried about COVID, why have the event in person?
There is the middle ground where people mask up and play
@@wxybkaphsc the middle ground of risking the lives of your family members just to play a board game that you could have played online instead?
Stay safe man!

Exactly, hardly a problem unless you have underlying health conditions…. The numbers don’t lie
yeah this is absolutely true; for sure should have been masks required from the start
