Geier Hall Tour || University of Tennessee Knoxville

A brief tour of Geier Hall at the University of Tennessee Knoxville!
Geier Hall is a pod style dorm and is located in west campus between the Carricks and Magnolia/Dogwood. Geier Hall has a sister dorm called Robinson that is very similar in layout and aesthetic. Geier and Robinson were built around the same era as Magnolia and Dogwood, so all four of these dorms have alike features. Please note that everything I said in this video is my opinion, and that I did not live in Geier Hall.

Thanks Julia! I’m a Mom to an incoming freshman. I think Geier will have the engineering living and learning community that my son applied for. The dorm looks nice. If he gets it, I don’t think he’ll be disappointed.

What do the bathrooms look like? Are there multiple showers, sinks, toilets in each one?

Quick question- what floor would room 127 be on? I was told 2nd, but not sure. My son is an incoming freshman. Thanks:)

I’m not incredibly familiar with Geier because I didn’t live there, but I believe 127 would be on the 1st floor, which is the main floor of the dorm. There is a basement in Geier, so maybe that is why you were told 2nd?

Not 100% sure, but I think around 8-10 people share a bathroom
