led(light-emitting diode) are mounted on a pcb board (printed circuit boards) and is inserted to the positive and ground terminal contacts on the vehicle that powers the led.
Thank you for this video. I'm going to try this on my 07 Fit license plate lights since I have some T10 LEDs just lying around. I thought I'd have to remove the entire trim panel, but your video was really helpful. Just press and pull the light cover to the right. That's awesome. Definitely doing it when my wife gets back with the car. I'd like to do it to the reverse lights as well since I see from your description they are also T10 and those are easy to access by prying off the brake light panel on each side in the hatch. I want to also do the front lights which are also T10 (the top not the HB2 which I'm also going to do), but in order to access these lights you have to actually take off the entire front bumper which sucks.
Actually, the bulb I listed is correct for the 2nd gen honda fit which this video shows. The bulb list for the 1st gen fit: Interior map is DE3175 31MM Parking: T10 194 Tailight: T20 7443 trunk: T10 168 Rear turn signal: T20 7440 Front turn signal: T20 7440 Reverse: T10 7440 license plate: T10 168
The reverse lights are T20 not T10 on the 1st gen which is what we have (07-08). It's a bigger bulb than the T10 and located adjacent to the T20 orange turn signal bulb.
Its only for the 1st gen it is T20 7440. 2nd gen is T10: th-cam.com/video/U8a-jIe28ko/w-d-xo.html The parts I listed is for the 2nd gen. I just didn't realize you had the 1st gen.
Awesome tutorial. Very clear instructions. I am ordering the SMDs for my Jazz now. For the cargo, did you not consider the type you used in the license plate?
Prabu Venkatraman Unfortunately the ones I used on the trunk did not fit inside the license plate light. However, since I've made the video.. there are company that sells these...www.ebay.com/itm/White-LED-License-Plate-Light-OE-Style-Pair-For-Honda-Fit-CRV-Odyssey-Warranty-/391228480225?fits=Make%3AHonda|Model%3AFit&hash=item5b1708dae1&vxp=mtr
I try to do this too, but I broke my license plate light cover! It's so fragile! Where can I buy another OEM one? I think that it's better to remove the tailgate panel, do you know how to remove that?

Thanks for the video, you had the best view of the licence plate lights out there!

Just be careful not to push too much or else it will break the plastic clips that holds on the license plate lens. Push slightly and pull down.
The reverse lights are not t10. They are t20 (7443). Had to order a pair off ebay after I learned this. You should correct that in your description.
