I think if Eric had stayed with his roots and built the best street bike that could have been made, many more units would have rolled out the door. Instead he became obsessed with winning at the track instead of the sales floor building a small number of purebred racing machines that a limited number could afford. Now a 1125 Ulysses to compete against BMW and Triumph would have been a cool bike. Good luck Eric hope you bounce back with something new soon.
Its just sad how everyone keeps doing this guy Eric is such a down to earth, hard working guy that keeps getting kicked in the teeth. I wish him all the best. I hope he rises again... and sticks it to Harley.
The original was a 2-stroke, which is no longer really feasible for road-going machines. Personally I don't care how much slower my 1125R is in a straight line since straight lines are BORING. Curves are what I desire and the Buell eats them up.
