Honestly haven't had much experience with the Zenith. While I have never had bad experiences with a Zenith, I have always had good results with the Tillotson. From all that I have read, the Zenith can be made to run good/nice but they seem to be much more "finicky". Being made from cast iron, they certainly are more "durable" but they also might have a tendency to corrode inside the steel passages if/when any moisture gets into the fuel/air. The Tilly's have a tendency to warp from the heat of the engine/exhaust so the primary goal with them is to ensure that all of the "mating" surfaces are flat. Beyond that, they seem to be much less "finicky" so the engines run much better. To be clear, I'm speaking here about the Tillotson/Tillotson X, and the Tillotson XF. These are all the same the model designation is only to denote different "batches" of distribution.. The XF being the "batch/distribution" made and sold to Ford Dealers for sale there. Common Model A "lore" is "show you car with a Zenith/drive your car with a Tilly". ;o) Ultimately, it's your choice !!
I have one from this batch left. Here's the current listing on Facebook Marketplace. This link will no longer work when this listing expires. The domestic shipping is a flat rate of $20.00. facebook.com/marketplace/item/417909884035627?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3Aad56ae1b-67e3-4aa6-97a7-7c13cd8f3daf
Excelente trabajo! Una pregunta, me podrías decir las medidas de los jets, por favor? Muchas gracias! Saludos desde Argentina.
