I can’t get enough of you two. You have such a wonderful relationship. I love that you make each other laugh all the time. Love the door and porch. I was just taking with my husband last month and said I would love to paint our door and shutters black. He is on board but we are going to wait until the spring when we get our new windows. HELLO VALENTINA AND JACK. Catching up on your channel. The doorway/entryway looks very very nice. My father used to say my mother was his best painter. We would paint all our homes, on Cape Cod, Inland, and home in New Hampshire. I love painting and did our family 1730 with original hardware holding wooden shutters that weighed a ton. IT was alot. I did white clapboards, black shutters, with a traditional red door. The soapstone planters were filled w geraniums, and i hung an early American flag from the upper hall window over the door. Now i live an extreme minimalist life. Easyyyy. The lanterns are gorgeous.
I’d suggest a kick plate, placed at the bottom just the rectangle, not wraparound type. It would add some durability and flare to what has turned out SO BEAUTIFUL!😍
Just watching this now (in February) and it makes me want to decorate for fall. I think my favorite part of this video was when Valentina said she didn't like the first front door paint color and the first thing Jack did was quietly check his watch to see how much time he had to make it back to the store. :) Teamwork!

I discovered your TH-cam channel a few months ago and have enjoyed seeing your decorating style and learning some great decorating tips! I just caught this video a year after you posted it but I wanted to say my 16 year old daughter fell in love with white pumpkins last fall. She was out of town at a Cross Country meet and found them for sale at a grocery store. Between her running gear and three large white pumpkins, she had her hands full when she stepped off the school bus!

I do love your style but most of all your energy is great together.
I'm actually going to be painting my door and all the trim a dark, not completely black color, on the inside after I put on new wider trim that Will hopefully make it more "grand" looking. Haven't decided on craftsman style or crown on the top. I'm also putting up wallpaper with a dark deco look on that wall. Peel and stick so I can change it when I feel like it. The rest of my walls are a warm white. Plan on doing it outside as well. Yours turned out great! Love the lanterns.

I'm glad you looked at midnight , I was too. Like you decided it wasn't right either. To paint the frame same as the door is nothing short of brilliance. It all looks so polished, I love that about your whole home. Including the color palette. You gave me the confidence to install a whole kitchen in black , white bench top with wood accents & I love it ! It took alot of courage on my part,with no kitchen designer . It was the right move for our house. Thankyou for the way you present and subject content, informative and attention to detail is great. And you make it FUN !
