Hip-hop at its purest. This came from a Beastie Boys DVD where one was able to toggle from camera to camera on the fly by using the remote’s angle feature which sadly disappeared soon after the beginnings of the DVD player.
DJ Craze and QBert were the best I ever saw scratching and creating the beat. I remember QBert had three decks spinning and a guy who's entire job was pulling records, it was glorious. And all I could do was stand there with my mouth gaped open watching Craze, he was something different, like on his own level.
You guys have GOT to get into the Paul's Boutique album a little bit. You will LOVE it!! They sampled a ton of 70's funk and soul and just mixed it into this crazy beautiful mash of incredible hip-hop. Start with anything. Shake Your Rump is a blast but it's all so cool. One of my favorite tracks off Hello Nasty. The Beastie Boys really did expand their sound from License to I'll onward, but they could still rock it with just the essentials. Also, them and RUN DMC were the best at tag team MCing.

No second record playing a loop, no drum machine, no computer. He's rapidly back-spinning on kick and snare parts, then jumping to separate synth and horn parts. On one record. Because he's a Master.
Hello Nasty was the first album that I bought with my money, I was about 10. Still rocking it on the daily drive. This song and "Putting Shame in Your Game" are two of my favorites
My favorite fact about this video is that on the DVD video anthology, you can use the camera angle feature to watch the video from any of the four cameras at any time, or watch all four simultaneously.
