i swear they need to make a working landing gear mechanic, crash physics, and some type of dogfighting thing other than flares, so people could use it for more than a flight sim
to solve the solution of random killing, just make a pvp off thing

Taking off like that isn't VTOL though - just a sudden pitch upward - the Hawker Harrier is probably the best example of a VTOL jet.
