😂😂😂
Hi I am Jaddu 👽 sending this message from Mars, thanks to Sagar and other humans to develop chess culture on Mars 👾
PenguinGM would be proud
Are you really in Antarctica?
Lotta a love too from somalia
Nobody is talking about how good of an interview Hikaru gives, a talented speaker, no wonder he pops on TH-cam
Sagar Sirs research skills are top notch, before every interview he knows most of the things about the person, huge respect sir.

The best part of interviews on this channel is the realness and rawness like these!!😅❤
Hikaru is literally looking like actor from korean flim industry!! 🔥
Japan
he is japanese tho
@@pixelpie986 american
@@BharatXtreme he is japanese
later moved to america where his mother married a sri lankan who is also a coach of hikaru .
He’s half Japanese and therefore half East-Asian, so it’s understandable he might resemble Korean film-stars who are also East Asian.
NIce sagar. Chess has been growing in nepal also. Lots of love from nepal
Let's produce first GM from Nepal.... It'll be a good for the sport.

I find this groveling in front of Americans by this Dalal channel to be nauseating. India has a chess history longer than The time frame of so-called Western civilization itself. There used to be Indian rules chess which was far better to international rules chess. More importantly it was homegrown and relevant to Indians. I like Hikaru but he is highly westernized in his thinking as you can see by his humor which is just disguised backhanded compliments that westerners usually give.
Indian rules chess emphasized aspects of the The game that were essential to development of a kshatriya mentality of service to Dharma that is bound up in The inexorable flow of karma. The rajah could never be alone on the board. The conventions of promotion and not castling also emphasized chivalry and sacrifice.
These dalals actually resided over the ruination of Indian chess which had a very advanced native ecosystem. Their self congratulatory smugness betrays their complicitous bias against Indian chess. Indians should start looking into reviving the native ecosystem.
Nice sagar, chess has been growing in Mars too, all because of chess base india
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Namaskaara from Mars 😂
Hikaru giving Severus Snape vibes.
"New defence against the dark arts teacher, Hikaru Nakamura". Sounds so cool.
looks like a child
Hi this is Voyager 2, chess is booming here in interstellar space too. I recently introduced chess base india to my brother voyager 1. We dont have a whole lot to do out here in interstellar space so we spend most of our time watching and learning chess from CBI. Keep up the good work 🥂
😂😂😂
Funny comment and it made me think that you could technically play a game of chess against Voyager 1. Voyager 1 is 23 billion KM from Earth, so it takes a signal 44.6 hours to reach Earth. If the game lasted around 80 moves (40 move each), it would take around 5 months to finish.
Ppl in ISS will be playing chess because of CBI promoting it. Infact, Sunita Williams is a subscriber 😂
The camera quality is insane. Looks almost movie level; crystal clear :)
It must be one of the latest phones. The background blur is consistent at all depths. So, it is just done with the software.
It's either s23 ultra or s24 ultra
p
Yeh its the typical artificial software blur. Looks good but its not a cinematic camera actually
It's fake bookeh.
0:07 For anyone outside of Europe: it is not rare to find a resort of this type in European countries. There are hundreds. Probably more than in the USA, and in a smaller area.
Bro is a certified yapster
Hikaru looking like Korean movie mafia boss.
Hikaru after playing the match
comes at booth and says:
today we are going to look at the match of hikaru and magnus 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hikaru is so genuine. He was upfront and straight forward in his reasoning on several hard to answer questions.
I admire Hikarub so much, man. He's so honest and is not afraid to express all of his emotions (even if they're not the good ones). He comes across as genuine and not fake.
Hikaru nakamura looks like Hikaru Baldev singh
😂😂😂
🤣
Hikaru, Fabi, Levon deserve more recognition in their home state USA 🇺🇸 than they are getting.
Go Hikaru 💪
10:50 Hikaru carrying that RAJESH kHanna drip😂😂😂
That red scarf is really great on Hikaru with a blue shirt and red jacket, creating an aesthetic synchronicity with his typical Asian slanted eyes. Wish you a great event Nakamura
Bro you need to hesitate 😭
He's Asian, but his eyes are not Asian like. He doesn't have monolids. He has double eyelids, he just has hunter eyes.
Listening to hikaru is always pleasure
First off, am ignorant of chess apart from the rudiments.. chessbase india
videos that explains the move choices and tradeoffs have been most impressive in helping a lay viewer like me follow the game ( i remain ignorant), but the joy of following the game has been enabled for viewers like me and for that i express my deepest appreciation to Sagar and entire chessbase team.. ( yours is a classic case of when passion leads, outcomes naturally follow)...A dumb question , does freestyle chess bring out the best positional awareness/acumen from players or does it after a few moves settle into leveraging a lot of studied lines..Once again kudos to chessbase india you have made me an avid consumer of your content regardless of being ignorant of the sport... Regards
Homie is looking Majestic
Sagar, kudos to you for asking all the right questions. You are always well prepared and ask all the correct relevant questions. Love it.

In freestyle some small number of positions (less than 50) will need to be memorized a few ply deep. The amount to memorize is much less than standard chess but still neccesary.
why is hikaru wearing a salman khan scarf from ek tha tiger?
🤣
Yes bro tiger abhi Zinda Hai
Hikaru tigermura 🐯
He is the salman khan of chess world
Because he is evil, or just trying to fashion himself.
Nice camera quality , a tripod will make this very professional
👏👏
Probably one of the rarest of rare times when hikaru spoke on regular speed. . . 😂😂 great interviews chessbase team 👌 👏
So stylish, quite a contrast from the pineapple shirt
Looks like Hikaru stole Peter Leko's wardrobe.
A random handsome guy❤
Who is he talking about at 3:10 and why does it sound like he hates this guy?
it’s his second chris
But apart from tamilnadu. No other state backs chess much.
Maharashtra also
idk why I remember don-lee seeing hikaru
why did you blur the background? looks terrible.
A professional chess player in the US or France gets more support than one in India. That's why people like Levon, Wesley and Alireza switched to the US/France chess federations. No one from outside will ever join the Indian chess federation unless it was at gunpoint
Why do these recent interview videos look very eerie like Ai generated. Maybe because of the high resolution
hikaru look like an ai O_O
gukesh v magnus 25
Where are the pineapple shirts?
hikaru have a hairstyle of salman khan from tere naam 😂😂😂😂
its about money money and money. I am bit shocked to see western players so particular about money and commenting on income of players of India. India is still a third world by all standards of measurments. Its a reflection of how things are changing in the west and the trumpian quality of things. Its bit sad. Hope the dignity of the sports is maintained and hoppe this "envy" doesn't create a east vs west syndrome because the west will then start acting funny and hastle eastern players thru 'tariffs' and 'visa problems' and other kind of harrassments.

5:30 pm IST

@hahahehe8863 thanks
Predictions
Magnus won't finish first
Fabi Nodirbek top 2
Keymer will finish last
Gukesh in bottom 3
Alireza Magnus top 4
I only think the second prediction is very unlikely
@chillguyquintus yaa I also think so
Wait for Fedoseev and Sindarov to surprise you.
i guess only one of your predictions will come up as correct
I guess GUKESH can be a wildcard here as he doesn't play freestyle as much, WESLEY SO should have been here he is great freestyle player.

I'm happy to have Hikaru on board- Magnus carlsen
Prag & Arjun not participating?
There were qualification criteria that chose select players.
The velvet jackets are back!! Too weird... Is that strange guy forcing them to wear them all the time? '60s Hugh Hefner playhouse mansion vibe being thrown off by the Freestyle paymaster...
The artificial bokeh makes the video look AI generated ...once I saw it , it was so infuriating 😢😢
This, I suspect, has been designed to denigrate the new World Champion Gukesh ,making him play in a format where the senior GMs are familiar with. It is not advisable for Gukesh to leave FIDE and its more widespread format where a very large number of young minds compete from every country.
these guys are not human beings... they are aliens... how fast can they evaluate so quickly... I wish to preserve their DNAs 😂😂

Somehow I'm preety sure chess would be less popular in India if it wasn't a 3rd world country xdd
only because "first world countries" are soft and the kids just fixate over tiktok and bs, wasting their lives and never having been disciplined or having gained the capacity to devote themselves to anything
and i'm saying this as someone who has lived in a first world country since birth
@@SmartWatches-xu6ri look I know everyone likes to be a smartahh every once in a while but that's just armchair sociology, a huge oversimplification of a very complex issue. I'm also from a 1st world country. I don't think it can be easily summarized in words, I think the characteristic Indian patriotism also has a lot to do here, and their chess history with Vishy. They respect and admire their national heroes like no other nation I've seen, so they respect chess as part of their national identity thanks to Anand. So that's grounds for treating chess seriously there, but it's also escapism, chess is a potential path for a talented individual there to achieve glory for himself and for his country, and to escape the normality that isn't very appealing, as the country is poor. Meanwhile in 1st world countries normality isn't really that bad. That's my take, but I'm not a sociogist either, so it's as good as any other.
