I just got my Mpc live 2 about a week ago and coming from Fl studio figuring out how to arrange beats on Mpc 2 was tuff. I still haven’t fully figured it out but seeing how this new update is set up made me jump right into it. I feel right a home 🔥

Love this video bro , clear and simple .. im just back to the mpc , because i like a linear workflow ..you know if there is a way , where can Copy/paste or Delete everything thats withing the Loop Range... now i have to manualy do this with every singe Track instead Getting Everthing done within the Arranger , i have to do this in the Grid

great video, straight to the point. hopefully Akai watching all your stuff. and it shouldn't copy the locators. there is possibility that you may introduce something different in the 2nd verse etc. not to mention if both verse's locators were called verse, which one would it choose to jump to? and so forth. maybe they can make it copy and carry over the names but add a numeric value to it each time. it think that would satisfy the user and the software's functionality. you the one with the channel, pitch it to em.

unpopular opinion but i just thought of it just now but swing can work as strum in a way because swing only moves a couple of notes and keep some the same , so you can kinda achieve a similar sound with that , try it out but right now idk of a way, i just play it live
Is it a way to track out a beat in song mode? I arrange my beats as I make them. I use sequences, bout day I got 4 sequences, can I track them out altogether. But in song mode that option isn’t there.

For the loop that keeps going after the end of the bar, can't you add a kill switch(empty pad) at the end of the bar or does that mess up the arrangement? Thanks in advance

[example, you made a midi track and tracked your midi-instrument [Synthesizer] as audio, so you wont need the midi track anymore, but maybe one day you get a better instrument, so you dont want to delete the track either] [The work-around i made, was color them grey and move them to the end-position]
How to launch sequences view along with tracks views, something like the session/matrix view of abelton/force. When I can launch a sequence and mute a track but could play a different variation of same track from another sequence, you know what I mean ?

I'm having trouble finding my beat after I export it. I keep the whole song in 1 sequence and export it and when I look for the beat on my SD card it's not there. Any suggestions?
i come from using a daw so sequences wasn't ever my workflow and with the arranger its literally no point but i know they kept it because alot of people aren't familiar with a daw workflow but i wish they make each sequence a new project to create and easier live set , which you still can do but then you still see the other tracks from previous sequence

word... honest question tho, r u being paid by akai to make positive reviews? cuz theres aboslutely nothing better or faster or easier about mpc3 vs mpc2. of all the complaints with the current mpc lineup i rarely saw anyone asking for a complete overhaul of the entire software process LOL. ppl can make a 4 bar intro on seq 1, a 16 bar verse on seq 2, etc, song mode, boom, its a complete song. how is this better in any way shape or form? this is a joke bro. most clunkiest idiotic workflow and far worse than mpc2 which was barely good in the first place. every mpc, even mpcs prior to software integration had the same streamlined process. they implemented that same og process when software was introduced. now theyre completely changing that process and for most of the ppl using an mpc, its not for the better. were going to sit here and act like everyone who buys mpc's are utilizing every function it has, when that was never the case. the target audience for mpc's is quite obvious and this is just another example of akai not seeing that. the OG's whove been using mpcs (and the reason for mpc's still being around due to those producers making them popular etc) have been asking for upgraded or updated converters in these new mpcs for years - they sound fkn trash compared to older models and most people havent ever experienced older models (pre software) so they have no clue what theyre missing. this company is a joke and tbh any youtuber hyping up their bullshit bc theyre either getting compensated by akai or hoping to is not only ruining the culture but one of the reasons music is complete and utter trash these days. no one gives a shit about sonics or energy anymore all they care about is getting paid, fulfilling their egos and contributing to the circus that is the world these days. what a shame

Why didn’t they make a way to add multiple sequences on the arranger for beat switches?
I havent tried it yet but has the limit of audio tracks increased ? Otherwise bouncing separate tracks for ech drum sound doesnt make sense tbh

You don't have to switch from MIDI to Audio tracks to stop the tail. You can just double tap the Stop button :)
