    Great vid thanks. I just discovered that you don't need to have an e-mail account set up with Outlook - you can find the files in the WIndows "temp" folder. If you are not connected, an error box will appear. Leave that box open, open the Windows Temp folder by searching %temp%, your pictures will be in that folder and you can copy and paste them from there

    Good tip. Doesn't need to be so long winded. Another item worth noting is if one doesn't have an email application installed, leave the Windows message dialog open, the dialog that states you don't have an email app installed, then go to the TEMP folder and copy and paste it our from there.

    • @seanokeefe3666
      @seanokeefe3666 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where's the temp folder ?

    • @nikkershaw4785
      @nikkershaw4785 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Type percent+TEMP+percent at the address bar on Windows explorer --minus the plus signs , the TEMP folder is different on every machine and is based on user name.

    Wow, this was easy. I found out that this works with Thunderbird too. It doesn't let you save the re-sized photos from the mail window, like Outlook in this video, but you can find the smaller photos in folder "Username\AppData\Local\Temp\moz_mapi" instead. Obviously, Thunderbird uses that folder to store mail attachments temporary.
