Have you noticed any specific techniques or moments that stood out for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts on what makes these recent performances so powerful! Lol brilliant proggy jazz death metal banger😂😂........amazingly deep insightful lyrical poetry based on kafka's novella and tati did say she is conflicted on doing music videos instead of using visualisers/animation and this looks like a damn masterpiece as far as visual depiction of the lyrics.
Hey! Thanks for the awesome comment! I totally agree-JINJER really brings a unique blend of genres, and "Kafka" is such a wild mix of progressive elements, jazzy transitions, and heavy death metal energy. The lyrical depth, especially pulling from Kafka’s novella, adds another layer that makes the track even more impactful. The way they conveyed all that emotion and intensity through both the lyrics and visuals is seriously next-level. Interesting note about Tati’s conflict with music videos versus visualizers or animations. I wonder if she feels that animations might allow for more creative freedom to match the depth of the lyrics? What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. If you like my other video, I would be happy to have you as part of my TH-cam Family!

Hey! I totally agree-Evgeny's bass is wild in this track, and you're right, the drumming is the foundation that lets him go all out. Ulasevitch has that insane level of talent where he can keep everything tight yet still let the music breathe and get experimental. Do you think that balance between bass and drums is what makes their sound so unique? I love how each member complements the others so well!
Absolutely agree! Vlad really stands out here, especially with how his playing meshes so well with the overall intensity and complexity of the track. His drumming seems to add another level to the energy and emotion of the song. What part of his performance did you enjoy the most? If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my TH-cam Family!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's true-Jinjer's lyrics are so thought-provoking and full of depth. Did you find any words or concepts that especially caught your attention? I think songs like this offer a lot to unpack and connect with over time. If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my TH-cam Family!

I totally agree with you-Tati’s cleans are absolutely incredible and often don’t get the recognition they deserve. The richness in her tone really adds another layer of depth to the song, and the transitions between her cleans and growls are just so smooth. Do you have a favorite song where her cleans particularly stand out for you?
The songs weren't made with vocals in mind, but I have always wanted to hear Tati fit vocals into Mahavishnu Orchestra's Inner Mounting Flame. Kafka is the type of Jinjer song that assures me she is the one to do it.
Wow, that’s such an intriguing thought! It’s fascinating how Kafka resonates with the complexity and energy that something like Inner Mounting Flame by Mahavishnu Orchestra has. Tati’s ability to fit her vocal style into music that’s intricate and intense is part of what makes her so unique, and now you have me imagining how her voice would elevate those iconic Mahavishnu textures! Do you think there are other vocalists who could pull off something similar, or is Tati truly one-of-a-kind in that realm? Would love to hear more of your thoughts on these kinds of cross-genre ideas. If you like my other videos, I would be happy to have you as part of my TH-cam Family!
@@reylynx There are other vocalists that could do it....but Tati already has lots of practice with singing to odd time signatures and intricate playing. And I envision both clean and hard vocals to Mahavishnu.
“Good catch! The Kafka references are definitely subtle, but I can see what you mean about the subject matter. It makes me wonder if there’s some specific centenary link or if it’s more of a general nod to Kafka’s existential and chaotic themes. I’m curious-do you think there’s a connection to “Amerika,” or maybe they were leaning more into the existential weight Kafka’s works carry?
@reylynx The lyrics reference Kafka's themes in general as well as aspects of his biography. There are specific references to "The Trial" and "The Metamorphosis", but not (apparently) to "The Castle" or "Amerika". Kafka died in June 1924 -- and June 2024 would have been the perfect release date for the album, but Napalm Records have pushed it back to February 2025!
Hey! Thanks for the heads-up for Ankor's 'Shoganai,' I haven’t checked it out yet, but now I’m really curious since you didn’t want to spoil it. What’s the vibe? Is it in the same ballpark as Jinjer’s intensity, or something completely different? I’ll definitely be diving into it soon!
@@reylynx the intensity is here... But as Always with Ankor no where you were prepared to. They are on their own and denying the laws of any genra to create their own. Evgeny's bass Can now be crazy, cause of the drumming fondations. Ulasevitch is incredible talented
