I love the art, and I love the bag building! Still trying to fully wrap my mind around the full set of rules, but I think it looks like a lot of fun. The mechanic of going around the table drafting cards (the tea party) also seems really interesting!

5:55 "and draw a new replacement" - this seems to be erroneous. You block the madness chip, it returns to the bag, but you do not get to draw a new one.
It's very possible that some adjustments were made to the final rules after this video was recorded. This was based on a prototype, and further development definitely took place.

@@davidwaybright I still prefer dice over bag building, or even cards if the odds/outcome needs to be adjusted. Something about sticking your hand into a bag where chits may get trapped in corners or under other chits never jelled with me. And VPs? Oomph! I understand why it's used so often, but it has always struck me as unthematic and a bit lazy way of scoring in a game. Nothing takes me out of the moment then a tallying of points or just the idea of taking actions to gain points. It's like money, it's useful as a neutral denominator, but essentially soulless. I prefer unique goals that can be collected, states to be achieved or conditions that need to be met. There is so much creativity out there and yet we still can't seem to link theme and mechanics well enough (or often enough) to come up with something better than: let's collect points. Sigh, maybe I want too much ^_^

This is the third video of "how to play" that I watched and I still think it will be so complicated that nobody will like it :/
I actually found this game to be very concise and straight forward.
When you pull the artifact chip and you have all your upgrades unlocked do you use all of them at once?
