I’m so glad you think so, I feel a little self conscious about the overgown fabric it seems so green in some lighting, but it some lighting it looks like a much closer match
One of the only memories I have of my grandmother was watching this movie cuddled up in her bed. This is by far one of my favorite iterations of Cinderella and definitely inspired my love of historic costuming. Thank you for making this fairytale a reality. Makes me want to try my hand at one of Danny's costumes.
every video that you have released on this just makes me want to make gowns from this movie even more!!! ahhhh it looks so good!!! i love it i love it i love it!
Thank you ☺️ I highly recommend you watch this film, it is just the best Cinderella adaptation of all time (in my humble opinion 😂) they recently added it to Disney+ if you have that
I love this, it looks just like the original! Check out Vogue V9294. Picture it in white rayon with collar A and rest in B. The sleeve would need to be 3/4 and not have a puff at top and you have Claire's going tbru tbe stones dress in episode 1.
Beautiful!! You did such an incredible job recreating the gown from the film with some really nice more authentic touches. I cheered with you when the piping came out so perfect!! Oh, and I really hope you go all-in and wear big clunky shoes instead of fine slippers. Nobody will be looking at your feet ;-)
Great job! I love your problem-solving process. And the end result - perfection! P.S. That set of boning channels at the centre back is called the "eyelet band". Not sure if you'd use singular or plural on that, though! 'Eyelet bands'?
I am living through you because I have wanted that dress from the moment I saw it. I do however have a bone to pick with you. You RUINED my Thursday by saying this movie came out in 1998! I didn't need to face that truth today. Damn you 2020! 😂
I do embroidery by machine. I refresh old thread by freeze it over night. Your joy over correct seaming piping was awesome.
I just found this series and oh my goodness how fantastic. I love love love this dress. It's one of my favorite movies of all time. So thank you!!
Awe thank you 😊 I’m glad you found me
Well done! Immediately recognizable as the gown from the movie. Beautiful.
Yay I’m so glad to hear it 😊
Such a wonderful job with the fabrics! They’re so well matched!

Congratulations! You did it! More than half of winning is just sticking the course. It looks great...and it is definitely more period than the movie.
Thank you 😊

That moment with the piping was just awesome - I was holding my breath and almost as excited as you to see how well it came out!
