    Nice Jeep! I just got mine and was curious how to remove the hard top by myself so it was nice to see how you did it. One of the best things about a Jeep is that owners can customize it however THEY like it, not what others like. Thanks for the video and enjoy the ride!

    Great job man, I’m in S.D. as well. Saving for my Jeep. Tough decision between the Gladiator Rubicon and the 4dr Rubicon. There needs to be west coast Jeep Beach.

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! I agree we need a Jeep Beach in San Diego! It is a tough decision between a JTR and JLR it depends on what you want to do with it. The JTR offers better cooling for towing and the better cooling is also great for off-roading in the desert heat. JTR has quieter cab and better ride because of the truck bed and enclosed cab, the wheels are further behind the cab. It also has a longer wheel base so if you're getting a Jeep strictly for crawling then probably go JLR. I went with the Gladiator because I am going to get a boat and it can carry more gear to name a few things, I wanted a truck and I wanted Jeep and I got both with the Gladiator.

      This video covers all the details about the 2020 Jeep Gladiator and describes what it's like to own one and drive it for 10K plus miles. I go over all the different features that are offered on the Jeep Gladiator. This Launch Edition has every available factory option from the dealership plus I talk about the mods I've done and how they affect the performance of the vehicle for every day driving. Watch my off-road videos as well, I put the Jeep Gladiator through the ropes on some great trails, plenty more content coming in 2021 thanks for watching.

    What is the minimum tire size that the Gladiator looks good with? 33’s? 35’s? I know with lesser it doesn’t look proportional

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Minimum tire size that still look good are the 33" mud terrain tires that came on the Rubicon before mods. Once you add a lift the minimum size I would run is 35's, I didn't want to run anything smaller than 37's in my opinion 35's look small on a Gladiator with a lift.

    looks amazing. the wheels, tires and offset make up the perfect look. It's surprising this is only a 2" lift. How heavy would you say is the back panel? Seemed you took it down and carried it with ease.

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Back panel is probably around 50 lbs. Although I haven't actually weighed it so I can be certain on that number. I will try and get a more definitive answer for you but I'd say it's around 50 lbs.

    I understand that these wheels come in diff configurations are these 20x12 with -44 offset ? And if so what bolt pattern did you get ? 5x127? 6x139.7? Let me know I’m really interested . In addition to the stock rubicon you went with a slight lift but did you need to do anything else with your fenders and what not to make it rideable besides possibly regearing

      @@thomaskrutulis2289 I've only driven it around my neighborhood and campgrounds with the windshield down. The Gladiator would be great for parades too with the top and doors off and windshield folded down. It's pretty much a novelty and throwback but I absolutely love that they designed it that way. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      I had the tire pressure sensors installed a couple days prior to shooting this video. Big O tires put the tire pressure to 41 haha I reacted the same way when I got it home. I just forgot to let the air out before I did the video.

      I know all about tire pressure on road and off-road. Now that I have the tire pressure sensors the light will come on if the tire pressure is below 37 psi... I will have to keep it at 37 psi when I’m not off-roading so the tire pressure light doesn’t turn on.

      @@Gladiator4x4Beast The mini is designed to be left plugged in and completely tucked out of the way (it truly is Mini), but they even say on their website, IF you have to go back to the dealer to remove/unmarry it, take it in for your service, then repeat the initial marry process once done and re-setup your settings. I LOVE the device though, it works perfectly well!

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Launch Edition is a Rubicon with every available option that was made for the Gladiator. Sport is the lowest trim level with the least available factory options. The Sport S however has the greatest towing capacity but it's not by much over the Rubicon. Check out the Jeep website if you want to compare Rubicon models vs. Sport models. Rubicons are the most off-road capable straight from the factory, the Launch Edition is a Rubicon.

      Not having rear view mirrors is illegal but police do not usually bother or notice. I've driven it quite a bit with the doors off before I had my tube doors with rear view mirrors. I've never had a problem but having the rear view mirrors on the tube doors I bought is great peace of mind. Check out my video on the tube doors and rear view mirrors.

    Have you added a 3/4 inches spacer in the front as well to level the truck ? And what is your thought on that ?

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not added spacers, I really like the stance, the Mopar 2" lift kit is great for what it is. The more clearance the better though so I would consider adding spacers as well, I'll have to measure and see if the rear is higher than the front. I plan on getting different fenders to add even more clearance.

      @@rafaelconti5415 That's awesome! Great choice I love it and haven't had any issues. Great corner travel, articulation and flex. The kit doesn't come with a track bar but the stock track bar works great with it, not sure if there is a difference between Rubicon or not but the track bar that my Gladiator has works great with this lift. My Gladiator scored 820 on the Metal Cloak CTI test (corner travel index) and would have scored even better with different fenders. Absolutely no complaints with it, the 2.5" diameter fox shocks work great with it as well.

    How does it drive with all the mods?

    • @Gladiator4x4Beast
      @Gladiator4x4Beast  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Drives great! Lift and 37" tires affect the shifting because it is geared for 33" tires. The mph reading is off by about 6 mph under actual speed. 8 speed automatic transmission won't hit 8th gear while on the freeway at high speeds but it still shifts and drives great, no complaints. I had to switch to manual shifting mode to see what gear she's in to see if she could hit that 8th gear. The gearing on the axles is technical and not even noticeable, it's a matter of opinion. You would have to own one and drive it and decide for yourself if you wanted to re-gear the axles for larger tires. Me personally, it drives great and I will eventually upgrade the axles and go bigger on the lift. For the money, I'd go with a larger lift before I would re-gear the Dana 44's that come standard on the Rubicon and some other trim levels.
