    Santa Teresa, Costa Rica is truly one of my favorite locations in all of Costa Rica. Santa Teresa has a small-town feel, some of the greatest ocean views in all of Costa Rica, and an incredible beach. Santa Teresa is cheaper than most large cities in the United States, which is astounding considering how beautiful this location is. We'll discuss the cost of living in Santa Teresa for budget backpackers, full-time retirees, and digital nomads. We also cover: things to do in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica; Santa Teresa food; Santa Teresa Transportation; Santa Teresa hospitals; and we have multiple Santa Teresa, Costa Rica maps. You can count on this video to provide you with all the information you need for Living in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.
    LivingOverseasTV,s goal is to provide a real look into what it’s like to live abroad. The idea is simple: Enjoy a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life than you have by finding the right overseas community for you. Our videos are designed for retirees, near-retirees, long term travelers and nomads; anyone looking to improve their quality of life while adding adventure and lowering their cost of living.

    Santa Teresa is a booming beach town on the western side of the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is a beach, surf, and nature lover’s paradise.

    omg prices have gone up so much in the last 10 years. 12 years ago i lived in SF for 1500 a month. San Francisco! And I lived in the lower Haight in a beautiful home with roommates. When I went to Santa Teresa, it cost something like $12 or $15 a night at the hostel. Cheap but someone did steal my board shorts off the clothes line.

    What would be the best and cheapest way to get from San Jose airport to Santa Teresa?

    • @djmack8
      @djmack8 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Costa Rica green airways from San José to Tambor ($100 each way). Flight is 20 minutes, then rent a car and drive. Rentals get hammered in Santa Tere and renting in Tambor they are more forgiving of the nics and ding you’ll inevitably get.

      @LivingOverseasTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Harli, If you are looking right now for a furnished, short-time rental, it will be hard to find anything cheap until high-season is over. In April, you will be able to find a place for a good price. Just make sure to get a year lease or they may raise your rent or kick you out and rent it for $1200 a month during high season. Also, it's very hard to get a good deal online. In-person and off-season is how you will get a good price. We will be making a video in the future on how to get a good deal on a rental.

    Those places are too fucking expensive.
    You can rent a good house at the capital for 500 monthly.
    Outside the capital rent to local people houses.
    200 monthly, 300 monthly.
    You can find good houses where to stay.
    At least you have a roof to cover you.
    If you are talking to american, why they need celsius and other spanish messures.
    Those hotels there are so expensive.
