      Отработка должна быть приближена к реальности . А движения в ката слишком условны и не дают настоящей подготовки

      @@ВладимирКр-б9ъyou must understand that reality is subjective, nobody can define it exactly as it is. The movements in kata are just templates, in the end all that matters is that the techniques are efficient and good. That’s reality 👍

    Question, what is the purpose behind his rapid head movement?
    Specifically the side -to-side 'twist?'

    • @shuharishotokankarate
      @shuharishotokankarate  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The answer is simple and that is you should stop shaking your head while watching this video.
      Please allow us to give you an advise 👍 you should learn to understand things for what it is and apply this in your daily life. It would help you immensely especially in your training. We can see your videos and we understand that what you preach doesn’t match your actions. This is not good because in life one must always walk the talk. Good luck and warm wishes 🙏

      @@shuharishotokankarate brother, I think you replied to the wrong comment. The guy heckling you is below mine.
      I'm just asking what the horizontal head twist is for.
      I know vertical is for spinal suspension, if you see my stuff you'd see my chin bobbing up when chambering and tilting down when releasing. I know that's vertical head movement.
      But I don't know what horizontal head movement does, nor have I seen it anywhere else. Thus, I'm asking what it do.
      Spinal twisting force? Visual field/acuity?
      What it do my dude?

      Hello, we have our thoughts but we will also ask Katsu sensei as we presume you want his perspective too right? 👍🙏 he always says that what works for one person may not work for the other, he said find yours and most importantly practice in various circumstances with the same principle. As for your question, our answer would be the turn with manji uke when standing straight would just be to sweep the leg while getting hold of the limbs(arms/head etc) warm wishes 👍🙏 However when we practise it never really goes exactly like the kata though.

    It is very beautiful but would not do well in a street fight it’s been shown thousands of times why it’s useless and many MMA guys have gone against top masters and the outcome 100% of the time was a loss to MMA and I say this with no disrespect because it’s a beautiful art and teaches kids and people alike discipline and to have a kind heart so I think it is needed

    • @shuharishotokankarate
      @shuharishotokankarate  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      MMA has RULES(no eye gouge, groin kick etc) so you can’t compare REALITY with MMA. In reality with NO RULES these are the kind of training that matter the most. We mean no disrespect to you, we don’t know what thousands of time or which masters you are referring too but if you want to talk about REALITY STREET FIGHT, you are wrong on your statement. A kind heart, discipline and most importantly common sense is needed in any martial art.
