I gotta wonder how many air marshals actually do get involved with an attempt calming a situation without saying "I am a air Marshall" and defuse a situation
It's pretty easy to not blow cover. Until there is an arrestable offense, you're just another bystander or flier. I've been undercover many times when I was a bondsman.
Why’s everyone talking about how the bullets aren’t gonna take down the plane, like yeah they’re right but I’m pretty sure the concern is that they accidentally put a hollow point into the back of a civilian.
2:24 "making it a priority to recruit from under represented groups" as the woman puts the target upside down. Are you sure thats a good idea? We have seen countless companies drop standards to accommodate everyone who isn't a White man. We have also seen incidents like United airlines where Black law enforcement officers beat a man and drag him off the plane by his feet. Every time I hear about diversity quotas I think about the post office where packages show up broken or don't arrive or DMV where it takes hours for simple things.
That is because TSA does the hiring standards now… 2001 and 2002 they were looking for type A killer types… not let’s talk about your problem and get a joint solution to it… at 35,000 ft we don’t hold debates… we take care of business so the passengers and crew walk off the plane… even if we are carried off.
I sat next to an air marshal when i was a kid; i asked, "do you think there are any air marshals on the flight? He looked at me and grinned then lifted his eye brows up and down fast as if to say, 'i am one and there are a few more.' I was mind blown.

This is for all the innocently “aviation ignorant” out there, like the broadcaster talking heads. Is it possible that a bullet OR a dozen bullets could cause a major problem to an airliner in flight? Yes, BUT the likelihood is fairly low. The highest possibility is that several bullets could make it difficult (not being glib) for the aircraft pressurization systems to keep up and in response to these bullet holes in the fuselage, the pilots might have to descend to a lower altitude to maintain pressurization…but if there are shots fired on board the aircraft in flight, the pilots will be quickly descending anyway to land at the nearest “suitable” location so as to facilitate the immediate arrest of the “bad guys” (and girls) that have raised the ire of the Air Marshals on board enough to get shot at, which isn’t easy. Oh and ahh, “Air Marshalls are the last line of defense”? Yeah but the guy in the white t-shirt with the “red gun” firing out of the cockpit mock-up wasn’t an Air Marshall…Wink, Wink.
@@kobuksonhwacha Dude talks about descending quick upon shots fired. I’d be on the hooks with him and say, “Na sir, no need to divert, he’s dead. I don’t want to have to cancel my hotel.” Stick with it.

It’s not. All you do is sit on a plane and fly 4-5 days a week.
Every flight is intense, but knowing we’re protecting our country is worth it.
