I learned CW back in 1989 to get my A licence and although never used it much since. But one thing is I have never lost how to send it. It has always stayed in my head even being away from the hobby for 20 years. Only issue is my read speed but in time it will return. My situation will change in September and I will finally be able to get back on HF with my IC705. Great video and all the best 73 de G0LQP

On another issue I have always used straight and would like to get a paddle but not a very cheap one. Do you have any recommendations? I do have a very old British 1940s Semiautomatic Eddystone S689 Bug Key that a friend gave me but its is just not for me.

I like your videos. Thanks! I would love to learn CW. I'm trying on my own and sometimes I go to classes with Long Island CW Club.

Really liked this video, am trying to learn CW via the CWOps Academy, have completed my beginners course and am about 50% of the way through the foundation. I have found your video to be very helpful and inspiring. If you do some live CW or more videos that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, greetings from south UK!
Recently started to be interested in CW and very keen to learn and become proficient to a point to enjoy making contacts over hf.
Will be looking closely your channel for that CW course.
    Thanks for sharing.

Great video. I am 90% cw, and some qrp with the qcx and simple vertical ant. Cw uses narrow bandwidth, less qrm, simple equipment and great knowing I have another skill.

Vara chat (VARAC) is better than FT8 because you can have real keyboard to keyboard QSO's. CW is still the coolest mode because it's a skill. CW is rhythm. The goal is to be understood. Get the spacing down.
