I have been trying for over a week to find the mod that contains the small bow featured on your character in most of your videos. It is the metallic colored semi modern looking short bow/ horn bow. It almost looks like a modern compound bow, but without the pulleys. Thanks for your great videos. I subbed after watching your content for the first time.
I love OBIS but I don’t have enough room for it on Xbox. So I am using some other rather decent bandit mod. I could use the no face gen version of OBIS, but those face textures Lol
Watched the video for some nostalgia and I had already played 90% of the mods shown, only missing on some unique encounters. Really nice list, covers every major difficulty mod very nicely, and you combine those mods that fit correctly with each other like UC and Wildcat. Tbh if I ever have time to jump back into skyrim I this video will help me remember every unskipable mod to have a decent combat expirience. Among them Deadly Dragons is probably one of the best lategame mods, making Dragons so strong that following main story is near suicidal unless you got the proper gear and stats to start hunting dragons and following the main questline. Some of my best memories is fighting multiple dragons using unique abilities and calling for reinforcements while some random encounter just gets in and starts fighting me and the dragons at the same time, while some imperial patrol shows up and everything becomes a bloody mess.
@Urusovite by average do you mean a fricken gtx 1090ti because that is not average my base computer can only run Skyrim at 60fps if it is poor however I can use my best graphics card which btw is a gtx 960 to play Skyrim with medium on the worst of days at 60 best days are ultra

One time I down loaded all of milhails mods and, it totally flooded my game, it was unplayable, not because of lag but because every time I walked 15 steps a leshin or Nordic colossus would destroy me, do you actually personally use all of the unique bosses linked in the dock?
I wish there was a mod similar to RDR2's high and low honor, and plus whatever actions you choose like thievery, looting, challenging foes, berserk or sneaky play style, a title will be bestowed upon you and people will recognize your behaviours and comment or criticize you like if an NPC comments on you if you've been looting too much, he will say," Oh look, the King of Loots/looting has returned, whatever fine treasures have you collected this day haha", and this especially applies to vendors or merchants. I hope my suggestion can reach those mod authors who are proficient in this type of modding.❤️❤️❤️
Deadly dragons and dragon combat overhaul make the game so crazy in high levels. Imagine fighting a dragon and then it call other dragons. It's like fighting flying battlemages lol
Tbf when even most non-exploit vanilla builds (basically any that use crafting lol) are broken af and some of us bring followers with broken gear, AND most of us use the other mods that are cool to have but make the game even easier, -- multi-tier difficulty is necessary or you win every fight in like 2 seconds even on legendary.
I wish bring your silver had mobs that had better resistances and weaknesses.... like elves would be weak to iron and dwarven, but resistant to steel, elven, and glass even though iron is weak af, and glass is stronger than everything else mentioned. While sliver is a common weakness to vampires, wood (and bone if you want) is also a weakness, while most everything else they'd be nigh immune to. ... and atronachs should be the equivilent to elementals... so fire would heal fire atronachs (along with fire enchantments) be immune to wood, and glass, weak af to ash and ice... and extrapolate from there.

One tip to anyone trying out a hardcore Skyrim run packed with script-intensive mods; restart the game after every death and don't let it reload from an old save.
It's a partially misleading comment. If your save is bloated with scripts, yes, it may often crash indeed - yes, that's true. Papyrus (Skyrim's script engine) is limited. It's also same limited in both LE and SE (i.e. it's just hardcoded and not dependant on your CPU, GPU, 32bit, 64 bit etc). At the same time, you should never have such a setup in first turn - and that's why you should test the game on matter of script load, for a few hours, before starting actual walkthrogh. It's clearly explained in the guide :) Also the mod list in this video won't go anywhere close to active scripts limit - it's totally safe.

It's more catered towards ensuring a smooth playthrough (with countless deaths) without the odd glitches and shenanigans that mod authors shouldn't be concerned with as your saves get heavier. It's a mere guideline I adhere when going through a number of comprehensive modlists. Since Skyrim is well, Skyrim :)

Hey there! Your question doesn't make sense to me. Smilodon is just a feature less trimmed down version of Wildcat made for PS4. Why using complete version of the mod over the castrated one? Indeed...
@@SinitarG Why, yes, but the mod author talks about having removed some "controversial features" for Smilodon, so I was just wondering if it provides a more well-rounded combat expierence overall.
How about ones that just alter the enemy groups to be a little more tactical? Something like bandits and bandit mages working together to make well rounded parties to make the player have to think about how they approach each encounter. Should I deal with the frontline while the back pelts me with arrows and swamps me in conjured minions, or rush the backline and have the 2h barbarian power attack me from behind?
@@SinitarGOBIS right? I was using bandits as an example, but other factions like dwarven machinery, falmer, or vampires could probably have the same amount of tactical consideration.

Which mod do you use to display equipment on your back? I went through your mod list and I couldn't find Geared up derivative, so I'm assuming it's something else.
Skyrim Unleveled + Know Your Enemy. Beware that Know Your Enemy doesn’t uninstall. What the combination does is make enemies be able to kill you in 1 or two hits but make you take more hits to kill them. I’m talking EVERY enemy. Know Your Enemy also at least used to make vampires unkillable without silver and able to shoot instantly deadly bolts of lightning like sniper shots. For extra fun, Underworld Civil War. Side with the stormcloaks and now you’re fighting a literal army of vampires you can only kill with silver.
Nah, there's no reason to use such incredibly outdated mod, which in addition doesn't make sense in Skyrim world design, and is one of the, if not the worst mod for Skyrim in terms of compatibility. While being great competitor once, years back, nowadays Requiem can't provide even 40% of features the good combination of modern mods will - which also will be much more lightweight and much better compatibility-wise to other mods. And even directly hardcore-related, much better results can be achieved with much less headache. Have nothing against players using it tho - everyone's to their own :)
@@SinitarG I'm just going off the video title. If you want such difficulty, then Requiem is it. You are essentially replicating Requiem with many more mods, rather than just one. There are at least three Wabbajack mod lists that cater to just such an audience. That and Requiem is anything but old, it continues to be worked on. I'm not much of a Requiem player btw. It just strikes me that you can make the game far harder and contemplative with far less effort, and less fiddling with MCM menus.
I understand what you mean, dw :) What I'm saying is that you don't have the full vision of the picture. As for the "replicating" - it's not such. Replicating means doing something similar, but in a lesser scope/quality, at least in modding terms. And here it's Requiem which somewhat "replicates", as its modding potential is way lower. And yes, Requiem is outdated - I know it's being updated on paper, but on practice the updates are cosmetic and all its core components are all the same, as seriously updating them would mean to basically remade whole mod from scratch, which is ofc impossible or not worth the efforts for the authors. In other words, all its updates is like a new paint for the car on rusty engine. I suspect that you're still not quite aware about results which can be achieved by heavy-modded setup nowadays (at least that's how it looks - if I'm wrong sorry, if I'm correct - I urge you to try to experiment more with you modlist, hehe) - because the statement about Requiem giving same results and modern related mods combined would be correct only somewhere in 2015 as max. It's still popular only because it's "all in one" type of mods which is being used by many players of certain audience as you just mentioned, who are lazy to learn modding and building own setup, or just don't have time for that, which is totally understandable. Nothing wrong with this, just the modding goal/concept of my guides/videos is of a different level - yes, you obviously need more time than to just install a single mod, but the end result will be many times better (harder, more interesting, more dynamic, better literally in everything), because as I've mentioned above, Requiem can't compete even remotely with modern mods in terms of capabilities (and neither it is a hardcore "champion" long ago), and compared to what you can build with them it's just boring - it's purely a technical fact.

Wounds affects only player. For enemies injuries, just use Wildcat's ones. And thanks!

Same. After trying all the dragon overhauls I'd recommend ultimate dragons and ks dragon overhaul 2 paired.
Advanced adversary Encounters mod was great experience for me vs bosses & bandits.

If I remember correctly, there is an injury system in Wildcat. How does Wounds work with that?
IIRC you simply disable Wildcat's wound system in the mcm.

And yes, Requiem is outdated - I know it's being updated on paper, but on practice the updates are cosmetic and all its core components are all the same, as seriously updating them would mean to basically remade whole mod from scratch, which is ofc impossible or not worth the efforts for the authors. In other words, all its updates is like a new paint for the car on rusty engine. I suspect that you're still not quite aware about results which can be achieved by heavy-modded setup nowadays (at least that's how it looks - if I'm wrong sorry, if I'm correct - I urge you to try to experiment more with you modlist, hehe) - because the statement about Requiem giving same results and modern related mods combined would be correct only somewhere in 2015 as max. It's still popular only because it's "all in one" type of mods which is being used by many players of certain audience as you just mentioned, who are lazy to learn modding and building own setup, or just don't have time for that, which is totally understandable. Nothing wrong with this, just the modding goal/concept of my guides/videos is of a different level - yes, you obviously need more time than to just install a single mod, but the end result will be many times better (harder, more interesting, more dynamic, better literally in everything), because as I've mentioned above, Requiem can't compete even remotely with modern mods in terms of capabilities (and neither it is a hardcore "champion" long ago), and compared to what you can build with them it's just boring - it's purely a technical fact.

Play Gothic. Deleveled Skyrim makes no sense due to game design, and no amount of mods can do this properly.
