  • Neuvillette is the uncrowned king of spoilers and lore bombs, but thanks to him and Focalors, we can finally assemble the last pieces of the puzzle to get the big picture of Celestia, the gnoses and even visions. And, surprisingly enough, that picture leads back to the traveler in a terrifying way… so let’s dissect this lore!

    4.2 was ABSOLUTELY insane! There is so much new lore that I still need to wrap my head around some of it. What are your thoughts on this patch and Fontaine's archon quests as a whole?

      lol.
      She would have to force-fed it all to her, considering how Paimon acts when traveler is out of eyesight for 2 minutes or less. Though that would be a funny scenario.
      She's also suspicious about anyone who flirts with traveler, likely worried that person would come between them.
      Found that out during the poetry event last patch.

    I imagine after everything, the traveler we play will die. When our main character dies, then we will finally obtain the only character that we could never unlock.
    The other sibling.
    And as the other sibling, we will finish off the story.

    My personal theory is that the 3rd descender is the sibling, and the one that we are chasing is just a reincarnation of our sibling which was born in Kaenri'ah with his/her memories intact which was why Irminsul did not recognize the sibling as a descender.

    One thing: The Hydro Gnosis still has its power and the Gnoses seem to have never had the Dragons' Authority. Neuvillette has his authority returned, but one of the reasons he gave for giving away the Gnosis was that he did not need the Gnosis' power, implying the Gnosis did not lose its power and thus would not have held the authority.

    • @lynchieOwO
      @lynchieOwO 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

      The dragon's authority is contained in the archon's throne in celestia. Since Focalors destroyed the Hydro Archon throne, the Dragon authority returned to Neuvillete.

    • @princ3ss_fschl195
      @princ3ss_fschl195 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      focalors not only killed herself, but destroyed the Hydro Archons throne. By that, it means that there cannot be any more Hydro Archons because the divine power passed to the Hydro Archon through the throne has now been destroyed. the dragon power is contained in this throne, the gnosis is some outside power buff, hence why archons can still be archons without gnoses.

    • @jakeforgey5378

      The Gnoses are... basically the Key to bearing the Throne... In this case Focalor's blew up the DOOR but left the Key alone, which left the Gnosis intact... somehow...

    I was just thinking watching from the beginning of the video, what if the Tsaritsa's plan is to use Traveler as a vessel for the gnoses? The reason why I thought of this was the Traveler can resonate with Teyvat's elemental powers and most likely can hold all of the gnoses's power. At this point, I really don't know. 😂

    15:30 -- Was it not clarified in the 4.2 story that the Gnosis did not contain the elemental authority to begin with? The Elemental Authority is a separate entity withheld by the seat of archons, which is why Focalors needed to destroy herself and not the Gnosis, which is also why the other Archons gave them away so easily. Nahida was only curious as to what would happen should it be destroyed given it is the only tangible possession of Celestia besides the Nails, I dont think Nahida really knows too much about the Gnosis similar to Neuvillette's reaction to Skirk's way of addressing it. What do you guys think? I may be wrong.

    Really cool observations! *Noice job!*
    There's so much to unpack in this video, as the more we learn about Teyvat's "management hierarchy" - be it the *higher powers* of Celestia, *outside forces* like "The 2nd Who Came" and the "descenders", the *internal logic* that governs Irminsul, energy and "data" flow, the cycle of life and death, "fate" as dictated by the fake sky... - the more we ask ourselves about _how exactly_ everything was set at the beginning and _how much, if at all,_ everything fits together, in order to make sense of the problems that their entire reality is facing and what possible solutions, if any are due.
    ... Like: Is the *Abyss* all about denouncing Celestia (as invaders) and trying to revert the Hilichurl curse (with the "Loom of Fate" operation)? How does the "late" (?) King *Deshret* fit in the current story, if at all? Did *Nibelung* already try to use a "power from beyond" to enact vengeance upon the "Primordial One"? Where do the *twins* fit in all of this? Is the *Gnostic Chorus* about our protagonists or something in the past? What about the _Pale Princess and her Six Pygmies?_ Was the *Pyro Sovereign* even defeated in the first place? What is the Tsaritza's final goal: to open Teyvat by breaking it's "borders" and giving it's people access to the "true sky"... possibly opening Teyvat for the *Honkai* problem? Or is she just trying to raise herself to the empty throne? Or would that be Dottore's hidden agenda? What about the other Fatui, like Sandrone? *_Questions, questions, more questions..._* XD

    Sometimes I wonder if each of the archon quests themes is something we must do in the end. We free the world by signing a contract for the sake of our sibling and the world. As a result, everyone's memories are erased of us and we sacrifice ourselves to stop the war and have our final moments with our loved ones before returning "home".

    I like the video! especially the last part about the traveler being a sacrificial lamb and how you prove that the tsaritsa doesnt want the authorities of the dragons-- only the gnoses.
    I actually interpreted the situation with the first and second descender differently. I think that at first they worked together to create the gnoses, then a clash happened and they fought but the second lost. and so then the moons fell and the cataclysm happened (the one before the archon war). I mean think about it, why would they fight first and talk later? they are both descenders, probably both looking to give humans a home, so their goals must have aligned at first. But then my assumption is that the second one disagreed with the first's methods, or something else happened, so boom war.

    I have a theory, I think that the third descender may be the sibling. And the one we see in-game is a copy, which isn't a stretch because she/he is connected to khaenri'ah which had the power to create life (Albedo). In the beginning of the game we saw that the siblings had a golden power, which I believe is all the elements together, we see this in the cutscene where all the Adepti pour all elements into the traveller and that power becomes golden. When The Heavenly Principles "captured" the sibling in the beginning of the game she looked very interested at the golden cube, remember that it's confirmed now that the gnoses are from the third descenders body? And if the sibling copy I talked about is true it would make sense that Nahida found information about her/him in irminsul, becauise that copy of the sibling was created ON Teyvat. The Traveller IS the fourth descender, which should make the sibling the third in my eyes cus they never say that the siblings TOGETHER are the fourth descender(s). It's a small theory I've cooked up but I personally find it very interesting!

      I think the 3rd Descender is actually a copy of the Traveller, not the sibling. In fact, I think the Traveller is gonna end up in a similar place as the Sibling and the Sibling will be in a similar place as Traveller, once they complete their time cycle.

  • @alexanderericson8628
    @alexanderericson8628 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    There are issues with current theories. Kaeyas story quest. In Kaeyas story quest Hoyo deliberately shows that Kaeya can read the future, and it is not a fluke. And before you interject, no it is not a magic coin Hoyo wants to show you that he knows if it is going to be heads or tales before he singles it, this has deeper meaning later.
    This happens more than once in the event he also takes part in a play that he wants to CHANGE, this is to hint to the traveller what is possible within the real world of Theyvat without telling him which is most likely strictly forbidden.
    This heavily suggest that Kaeya has made this journey before, and he knows how it ends. It is even possible that Kaeya was Caribert in Lumines timeline. Now in our timeline Khaenri'ah never happend and therefore Kaeya is not cursed but they still share memories through the constellation. A constellation is a deeper connection that transcends time since "time" does not really apply in space. Anyway...
    I believe the moments Kaeya is "away on business" is when he talks to Lumine about how to merge the two timelines into one. Yes I believe there are two versions of Theyvat existing at the same time. It is even possible that Khaenri'ah exists in the other version that is Lumines reality(or whichever sibling u chose) , the reason I say that is because Kaeyas constellation foretells about him being crowned prince in the excellent blood constellation. Now he can't really be crowned if there is no Khaenri'ah to begin with can he.
    Tsaritsa know's about this somehow, I am not sure how, it is possible that Zhongli has told her in exchange for the promise about visions this if I am not mistaken is the reason why Focalors is able to do what she does to deceive the heavenly principles her fate is not recognized within Furina even thou they are connected. If this is the case Zhongli predicted this outcome as he may very well also be a "witness" "The contract to end all contracts" Now if you see visions as a contract of sorts after obtaining it, this may very well be what Zhongli is referring to.
    But then we have a wildcard in the mix, Childe. Now Childe seems to have become a "Loom of Fate" This simply refers to those that can shape their own fate which is almost impossible within the world structure of Theyvat. These people are a serious threat to Celestia as it can unravel the entire world structure and its guiding principles. Remember these principles were put in place to reduce the possibility for humans to obtain forbidden knowledge ever again. Now with a little finesse if Theyvat is Hell, a prison designed to shield sin from Heaven and other galaxies. Forbidden Knowledge should be the knowledge of the Divine which is heavily eluded to coming from the deepest depth of the Abyss. Now creatures from Theyvat cannot go there since they are demons and sinners very incompatible with Heaven.
    Everything is already written in the stars the "humanity" in Theyvat is just the sin from a different time trapped in an ever cycle of repent. In order for humans to not go mad the system is designed to erase the memories called "erosion" in game. Now this was what Khaenri'ah argued against at first. However after granting Khaenri'ans like Dainsleif immortality they seem to have had a slight change of heart. Dainsleif is in himself interesting I don't fully grasp his intentions but I do not think he is our friend by any means
    Renes world formula is what I believe is a system that is put in place to refresh Theyvat for each cycle without the people of Theyvat knowing about it.
    Now if it is possible for Childe to change fate it might be possible for Kaeya as well, Childe is currently without fate, since his vision is not working and the vision is directly related to the fate of a person. Childes fate now is anyone's guess but I believe he plays a monumental part to the ending of this story.
    Okay back to Tsaritsa. Now Tsaritsa knows about the two versions of Theyvat and feels her version is threatened by Lumine she is now trying to either sacrifice us by turning us into a new Gnosis. This is what Paimon realises at the end of Fontaines arcon quest. In order to do that she first needs to revive the third Descender which should be the Second who came, the one that was with odds with the Primordial one the First Descender in Theyvat. See if the Siblings are connected it should suffice to kill one to take care of the other.
    And the third twist. I don't think Lumine knows that Aether can purify Abyssal power. This is not a small thing within the world of Theyvat. If Lumines fate was to become the queen of darkness, and Aether exists in a timeline before that happens, he might be able to change the past of the future. Life exists in a cycle in Theyvat therefore Lumines past is Aethers future kind of like a circle biting its own tale at the end.
    The final clue Paimon of course who else. Paimon is starting to have memory lapse and it is happen more frequently after we have finished some of the regions and started to change what was preordained by Celestia. See if Paimon sacrificed herself and got diminished much like Gouba she did so to preserve the memories of Calamity and all the people that lost their lives. But if the traveller is changing that from ever happening Paimon should seize to exist, and I think Paimon beginning to suspect that.
    It is why she is now talking about running away instead or find a way outside the Firnament.
    Ultimately it comes down to how strongly she is attached to the traveller if that is the only way to bring back his sister, is Paimon willing to take the last leap of faith or will she betray him in order to always be at Lucifer's side. "Cough" I mean Traveller.

    I was under the impression that “the seven overseers of the material realm” was just another way to refer to the archons.
    As in there isn’t another set of seven entities, it’s the archons themselves that are duty bound to grant a gift and as elemental beings, give some of that elemental power to individuals in the form of visions.

  • @jakeforgey5378

    One thing, it wasn't the Archon themselves, but the Title of the Hydro Archon that was Killed, with Focalor's being a willing sacrifice to seal the fate of the throne by going willingly to death, or at least willingly enough to not spread a curse. Focalors basically ensured the Throne was damaged (or destroyed), and in doing so Severed Celestia's grasp on the Hydro Authority... Which rendered the Gnosis useless to the Heaven's and gave Neuvilettte his full authority back...
    From what I could discern, That Was Not Planned by the Heavenly Thrones, or by the Tsaritsa, and might be something they both contest later...
    But the Hydro Archon can die, as we saw with Rhukadevatta and the Previous Hydro Archon, but their Throne still existed... the Throne was what was Killed, and thus the FUNCTION of the CONTROL of the Hydro Authority was removed and returned to the rightful Bearer...

  • @VeraldoAncodini
    @VeraldoAncodini 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    The "fate" of allogenes that is written in their constellation is more like a roadmap, that's their path to travel to ascend to Celestia and be "harvested", but not all reach the end of their journey.
    The "war with the 2nd throne" is called into question, why would they fight to the point of ruining Teyvat, to then work together to create the Gnoses and restore order to Teyvat? Also, the 2nd descender came after the war with the dragons where Phanes took the Dragon Authorities. The Unified civilization existed when the 2nd descender came and supposedly waged war with Celestia.
    "The one who came after" can only refer to the 2nd Descender, because "after" is in reference to the first.
    Focalors shouldn't have needed to end herself to release the Dragon Authority. Look at Zhongli, he abdicated his position of Archon, effectively there is no more Geo Archon, Liyue is self-governed, he gave his Gnosis away and now lives like a regular human.
    The many fragments are the gods that inhabited Teyvat and fought for the Gnoses, not the shades.
    Phanes split himself not according to the energy of Teyvat, but according to a different power structure, namely Logos, Void, Time, Death and Life.
    The Archons existed as regular gods before the creation of the Gnoses, the Gnoses themselves aren't life, and the Archons are clearly not bound to either the Gnosis or their positions as Archons.
    The giving of Visions should be pretty much automated, the Archons being just rubber stampers. The Inazuma case is odd indeed, Ei had sealed herself outside of the world, The Gnosis was in Yae's possession and the Archon was technically the Shogun puppet, so who was the one who actually wielded the Dragon Authority? My best guess is that the Authority had been removed from the Gnosis and placed into the Shogun Puppet, that would explain why the visions stopped appearing for a while and why Yae gave away the Gnosis so easily.
    I think that the reason the Sustainer stopped the Twins from leaving is because she didn't actually know they'd be leaving, all she knew was that they had been summoned by Khaenri'ah and now were casually strolling into Celestia. The summoning alone was a big issue for Celestia which had forbidden such acts, not to mention their dabbling in Abyssal powers. It's possible that the Sustainer mistook the arrival of the Twins in Celestia as an attack from Khaenri'ah, or at least an affront big enough to warrant putting an end to the "arrogation of mankind".

  • @singularitybound
    @singularitybound 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The First Descender is the Primordial One, The Second Descender is The Second Who Came / Usurper (we do not really know who this is/was.. or enough about yet.) In one part you hear they fought, in another they worked together; this is both pulled from the game (the latter being the most recent).
    And considering how history is already a mess in Teyvat, for example people thinking Rukkhadevata and Deshret were enemies when they were very close, who knows what happened..
    But we do know there was the 1st and 2nd.. The Third is clearly imo Nibelungs returning from the Abyss where he went to get power for revenge and his form has changed. He came back for vengeance, all he sought was destruction and the 1st and 2nd worked together. This is stated in the game, together they made the Gnosis from the 3rd after beating/suppressing him.
    The Gnosis are each a shard of Nibelungs power/spirit or something... to keep him from Resurrecting. The powers between the Archons and Gnosis doesn't exist. As stated many times now. The seat however does.. Whatever sits in Celestia that gives them their powers. They are each in charge of one fragment of Nibelung.
    Also a lot of people continue to refer to the unknown god (Asmoday) as that is her name in the game files as "Heavenly Principles". When in fact she refers to herself as the "Sustainer" of "The Heavenly Principles".. She can/could be THE one and the same or simply one of a group each with different jobs upholding these "Heavenly Principles", under someone else. (Shades?)..
    We still do not know about the Shade or what happened either there and how it relates to everything.
    Also Its clear Paimon is probably someone from celstia that used all her power. Perhaps used it to free Traveler? Or she is Asmoday.. again who knows.
    But if you look at the battle with traveler, as she took in the traveler her power started to turn gold again and she had a surprise look in her eyes. Maybe it was enough to let her have some control back and she put celestia into lockdown from whatever the infection/corruption is.
    As also pointed out in game and trailers etc there is the Darkness? Essential or the evil red power, that is not prt of the Abyss. This is what these gods seem to be dealing with. Perhaps during Abyssal invasion, and or Nibelung's revenge attack. And as show in the Battle pass trailer, corruption etc, pearl etc.

    "The only problem? This makes absolutely no sense."
    LOL. I came up with an all encompassing solution that ties back to Sumerus and Inazuma quite nicely but it's a bit complex. But as to Celestia they don't need to and nor do they ever try to monitor activities after a curse because - the whole point is the curse does it (ie the fate system does it) and it cannot be avoided so why would you ever need to? Deceiving fate is a metaphor. What it means is manipulating the rules of the Teyvat fate machine to create an outcome that you desire, as opposed to the outcome that "originally" happened, or that it feels ought to have happened in some sense. Thus changing the history of the future is much like changing the history of the past. On first look it seems impossible. But then there are loopholes. What are the loopholes?
    It's the same as in any work of literature that has prophecy. There's two types of prophecy in literature - stuff that is avoidable by doing things differently. This type "soft prophecy" is more like a warning, or advice, or a guess. Then there is "hard prophecy" which always takes place. We're dealing with hard prophecy. In literature whereas the hero overcomes soft prophecy by heeding the warnings and doing stuff differently, there's only one way to deal with a hard prophecy and that's to re-contextualize the prophesized thing so what looked like it was going to be bad, actually turns out to be good. Therefore with hard prophecy it's vital to know exactly what is prophesized and what is merely assumed to be going to happen because of the fixed events of the prophecy. You have to know what parts can be moved (what parts are under "gods gaze" and what are not).

    The narwhal has nothing to do with Fontaine's curse any more than the dude who goes around killing blacksmiths in the second samsara of Wanderer/Scaramouche's history has anything to do with Dottore, or that a bird or a cat has anything to do with Paimon breaking the vase. As the past so the future. When what was "meant" to happen doesn't happen something else has to fill in the blank and these things can seem pretty random or coincidental. But that's just because of the arrow of time and out prejudice that cause and effect are always aligned in one way. At any rate random stuff happens to fill in both ways. In fact once the narwhal is killed instead of the flooding being avoided (it cannot be avoided because of the prophecy) some other random thing happens to flood Fontane. And if that had been stopped a 3rd thing would have arose. In the same way had someone killed the random dude who goes around killing Scaramouches blacksmiths, some 3rd random thing would have happened to kill the blacksmiths. or if cats and birds had been prevented from breaking the vase some other random thing would have.

    You and I actually were close, when about thinking the Gnosis as body parts.
    Lol just not WHO'S parts they were.
    I thought for sure that theory was out the window once they said they held the dragon's athority.
    That said, people seem to think its the travelers sibling.
    I don't like that for numerous reasons.
    But I think that would be the traveler who descended and fell in love with the Seelie.
    There are other choices, and we can't even be sure there are only 4 descenders like the Fatui claim.
    I've been counting at least 7-10 characters in the game's lore (not counting Aloy, who is just a massive annoyance) that could fit that title.
    If not more.
    Though I admit that some of those people could be the same ones just under different names, etc.

      I think the traveler who descended and fell in love with the Seelie is also what the book "The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies" talks about. I wouldn't be surprised if the pale princess is Paimon, all the seelies (Except probably Nabu) lost their original form and wisdom, so Paimon is probably a dumbed down version of that Pale Princess. And plus her memories got wiped. In the book it says that the Night Mother cursed the Pale Princess' people, so it matches up. The six pygmies are the 6 demon archons (Tsaritsa is likely to be a saint). The prince's light is hidden and the prophecy is that he will be brought back to life by her biggest foe a thousand years later. At which point the princess will be free from her eternal torment. The tsaritsa as the goddess of love, who is a huge advocate of peace, after she witnessed the horrible catastrophe of Khaenri'ah, something happened and she hardened, like turning into a different person (actually?). She likely learned that the Heavenly Principles (The Night Mother?) needs to be defeated in order to get eternal peace, and learned that to defeat the Heavenly Principles the prince must be brought back to life, so she is trying to gather all the gnosis. That's my theory.

      We really were! We were truly cooking, just with the wrong ingredients lol
      Honestly I'm also not sold on the sibling being the third descender, though I wouldn't be surprised if this 3rd hailed from the twins' lost civilization due to how similar their constitutions seem to be. I'm not expecting them to be anyone we have ever met due to how far in the past their death happened. I still think the abyss twin is either a copy created from the traveler's memories (bubble universe theory) or the real deal that somehow started being recognized by Teyvatn(by completing a cycle of the samsara, through alchemy, etc..)
      As for them not being a descender, I believe there is much more to it than being from beyond the sea of stars. Otherwise the narwhal would also be considered a descender, or even Albedo's seed. Having a consciouness on top of being an alien might not suffice either, but at the moment I have no clue what this missing crteria might be.

      Yeah, I have another theory for the traveler twins, that none of the released into in game negates.
      Thankfully.
      If it did outright, then I might lose interest in my fan fiction, lol.
      I was waiting for my next chapters, to see what Neuvi told us.
      So, I can finally lay that out lol. Though I think, aside from that idea I had about it, I would go with the theory that the abyss sibling died and was reborn in Khaenri'ah, thus losing their descender status after or during the cataclysm.
      But them being the gnosis, I think if they died, that (becoming magical focal items) would keep them from being reborn.
      Anywhere.
      I can't see the abyss twin saying that they should go through everything they did (which would mean becoming gnosis and all of the physical or mental pain associated with that) when it would be likely to harm their sibling.
      They still sounded like they cared about the traveler, when they talked to them before.
      I can't see them saying:
      Go through everything I did and give up your body/soul to become gnosis.
      Though I admit it's highly possible they were around on Teyvat before the archon war. I just doubt they would be able to reincarnate in Teyvat and that they would be willing to have their sibling suffer the same fate.

    It seems like Neuvillette just decides to act as a substitute Archon for the purposes of the gnosis being used to deliver Visions. While the process itself seems entirely removed from the awareness of the Archon there nevertheless seems to have to be an Archon for it to work. Does this mean Hydro Visions were on hold for two minutes while the Hydro gnosis changed hands? But actually stealing gnoses doesn't appear to make a difference and we don't know why Electro gnoses were stopped (or for that matter whether they are still stopped). We do know the eg Geo gnosis handed out Visions in Liyue and of any type because Ganyu gets one before the Cryo gnosis is handed out, but after Zhongli gets his gnosis. As such Ei isn't involved even unconsciously in handing out all Electro visions but only Visions within Inazuma.
    I don't see how Visions have anything to do with dragons if they are bits of gnosis and a gnosis is a bit of 3rd descender?

    "Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world.
    "Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn?
    "Then, burn away the old world for me."
    Imagine Traveler getting all of the authorities instead
    (Aside from the hydro Sovereign for now)

  • @davidjohnson8273
    @davidjohnson8273 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    So most people seem to think the "authority" if it's anything at all is bound up in the "throne" that was destroyed and not the gnosis. Otherwise it feels like the plot would destroy the gnosis and not the throne to release the authority to Neuvillette. or else just have Focalors give Neuvillette the gnosis? it feels like as far as Neuvillette is concerned the gnosis is just some dangerous garbage he's advised to get rid of. but the whole system of rewarding Visions seems tied to the gnoses regardless of who physically has them, or where they are so I suppose you could say that authority works in a similar way, except why even mention this "throne" thing that got destroyed?
    I don't think the word means anything yet. I think it just means a lot of power in that element or, in the case of the primordial one's authority, just a lot of power in general. This is based on Neuvillette's ascension line where he seems to be identifying merely increasing his power level quantitatively, which is what ascension is, with gaining back his authority. if he gained back his authority only by the Foclaors shenanigans then what does it mean to have it as an ascension line? As such I think the throne acts like a dam syphoning off power from the flow of Hydro and with that dam gone Neuvillette can gain power without that limit.

    If the Heavenly Principles is Phanes + shades, then maybe the sustainer/unknown god is the second who came

    • @BluesLoreCrumbs
      @BluesLoreCrumbs  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Given that they appear to have allied themselves to HP after they got injured, that is actually very possible! At the very least, even after all the damage the second who came inflicted on Teyvat, they seem to want to save it, and keeping HP alive (sustaining them) might be the way to do it. We really need more lore on the two thrones and their relationship ASAP, because right now all I have is questions.

    Just an personal theory,But the future saves the past.So,Let’s just assume that Dainsleif is Aether from another timeline and we have to defeat him in order to reweave the fate of Teyvat as mentioned in the travail trailer or one of the trailers I think.Anyways,I have enough grounds about Dainsleif being Aether so I don’t think he’s gonna let Aether die at all Since that would just mess up his entire plan or whatever his intentions are.

    If Genshin was an anime I would agreed completely. Alas it is a game. I do not think Mihoyo will off the traveler since doing so might disrupt the game’s story. The traveler is not only the main character but also your chosen avatar. Killing off the traveler is akin say to all players ‘game over pal. Gg’. I do like your whole theory. I just don’t think they’ll in the end.

    • @BluesLoreCrumbs
      @BluesLoreCrumbs  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm on the same boat! I can't see Hoyo killing off the traveler because that would completely disrupt the game's design, as genshin is meant to be experienced through their eyes alone. Even if they pull off some convoluted stunt, like killing off the traveler and giving us the twin instead so we can continue the story from their prespective, that would make a lot of players very mad. Enough to turn people away from the game, and that would lead to a loss of profit. Obviously, Hoyo can't have that.
      I do think this will be a major plot point, though! It was brought up by Paimon and her dialogue is often meant to clue us into where the narrative is going. But it's one thing for the celestial gods to try to kill the traveler, and an entirely different one for them to succeed.
