Thanks, in the next video or two I’ll let it run for an hour while I test everything and burp the cooling system. you’ll get to hear what it really sounds like
It grew on me after I got it all back together. I’m for sure gonna leave it there. It looks like it came from the factory like this. I used an oscillating multi tool with Diablo metal blades to cut out the opening. Made plunge cutting thru the plastic cowl and the metal behind it super easy and the cuts were really clean.
Thanks. Just headers in this one. I threw the mid pipe and catback that was already on the car on it and it’s very quiet. For sure a sleeper. I ordered a MBRP H pipe but I’ve been waiting two weeks now for it to show up.
Your ADHD and attention to details is paying off. Intake is the best Coyote swap I've seen to date. When you get a chance perhaps you could link in the description? Awesome vids man, can't wait to watch some rips😊
Thank you, i ended up wrapping it with header wrap for a cleaner look. You’ll see in the next videos. the filter being inside the fender where it belongs was important to me. My intake air temps NEVER get above the outside air temperature. Heat kills power so I think that’s why the car made 434/392 on the dyno when most gen1 coyotes only make 400-415 in stock form.
Any cheap 11-14 intake is made the same. Mine was on Amazon. The sr performance brand is made exactly the same. All I did was add a 45 degree coupler to it
Not sure if you said this but how did you get power to your fuel pump? Using a pbh control pack and there is a blunt lead for a fuel pump not sure what to do with it
@@dillanbrenize-ott9286 tie it into the inertia switch inside trunk if you’re pre 98. The switch has a red button on it on driver side of trunk behind carpet. Unplug and splice wire in then plug back up. 99-04 cars you can jump from the passenger kick panel. If you have a new edge watch the video on my channel “how to wire the coyote swap, made easy” I show it up close which wire to tap on those cars. Hope this helps
@@MillennialDad92 appreciate it man I watched your part 4 video and found the answer lol I need to just finish the videos instead of getting giddy and going out and doing stuff !
Sounds fantastic, love the swap!

BTW, I actually like the PCM in the firewall vs fender. Looks pro

I also dig the air filter setup. I’m putting a gen 1 in my 95 GT. If you don’t mind sharing the links I’d appreciate it.
@@mr.weaver2682 will do in the next vid when I actually finish the intake, in this video it’s still just a rough mock up
Could you post the link for the intake tube you used ?
