Another stealth collection that could have its priority bumped up on the hobby ladder. Honestly they look quite fun in some regards but do kinda feel like the had the balance across the units and play style better previously but we shall see how it comes out in the wash. Awesome videos and twitch chats as always sir. You are a credit to the community.

Just a shout, StormBring issue 73 has 10 of the new Ardboyz for £10 an issue. Can't find it anywhere, I think the scalpers have already got to it.

Ironjawz received more nerfs than buffs when they were already under performing and were only doing well in big waaagh which was removed.
-1 hit to the whole army. Violent fury 4+ that only lasts the turn and 12" wholly range. -1 rend lost on brutes, gore gruntas and maw krushas tail but didn't get the extra attacks, sure they have conditional -2 but that's not -2 base. Waaagh +1 attack paired with 4s to hit means 50% effective on hits alone vs an extra rend on say 15 attacks on brutes that would more than likely be given to your opponent to save at -3 rend vs anything. Waaagh isn't board wide. Smashing and bashing pretty much removed, now battle formation that only gives +1 hit and your opponent can still fight before it's triggered and it doesn't affect companions. +1 wound spell removed. Warenchanters buffs now 4+ not 3+ and does not have +1 hit anymore which the army needs more than ever. Mighty destroyers gives less movement, period, for being able to make really niche techy plays that doesn't fit an ironjawz army. No multiple command abilities for 1 point. Strength from victory doesn't give health and has a max of 3. No mount traits. 3d6 charge now 8+ on 1d6 not 3+. Shield bash only works vs units that charged. Did I forget anything? What did they gain to compensate? Did other armies receive nerfs comparable to ironjawz, a faction that was already at the bottom of meta watch? Why?
I don't like to be this negative but these are the facts. I'm sorry my orruk brothers but we picked the wrong grand alliance, destruction, but we already knew that.
Killa beat dosent even work on companion weapon really puts the nail to the coffin for me
@@331jd63d yea I didn't even mention companions are much worse because they don't get buffs but that's not as relevant because that goes for every army. Still hurts
I don't think you mist much. Orkus just got the short end of the stick this early in the edition. Certainly compared to death armies.

Also that unmodified 8 inch charge is a lot less certain for that +1 attack than it seems. And even less so with how I roll lol

When it says "can" pile in 2D6" instead of 3". Does that mean you can roll first and still choose to pile 3" if you got the double 1?

Am I the only one thinking he's over estimating Strength from Victory getting +3 dice? It's not permanent anymore like it was in 3rd. You'll probably be able to get 2 at most a lot of the time.
Also, I just don't like the Ironfist subfaction a lot, because you have to do UNMODIFIED 8+ charge for the buff. I'm personally gonna be doing Weirdfist for the Wards. Although I am curios if getting a 3D6 charge counts as unmodified or not.
3d6 counts as unmodified. 2d6+1 does not. Go figure.

Heard Kragnos and Nagash would have different warscrolls for each army they can be played in… didn’t see a Kragnos warscroll though so guess that’s not confirmed yet?

I just want to point out that Strength from Victory only gives the bonus Waaagh! points only if the unit’s also been destroyed, so I can’t see how one mega boss will ever be able to get the whole 3
Tag 3 units with his attacks and then kill the tagged unit with something else. The boss doesn’t have to be the one to kill the unit

Kragnos is not the Destruction god. He's a BoC concept model they didn't want to go to waste. Looks nothing like the grand alliance he's supposed to be part of.

I know you mentioned it recently, which made me laugh because I thought it the instant Kragnos was revealed. I was bitterly disappointed that we got a Dragon Ogre Shaggoth glow-up as our "god" model.
He's the leader of the Ironjaws and a huge cabbage patch dragon and both have rend 1.....

Ironjawz look good. Sad that the battle traits are very thin. The big pigs look good. Momentum is good although the Tuskboss' rampage seems really useless since we're probably always at max...so feels weird to have that on there. Would've been better if he had a similar rampage to the hacking krew
How will you always be at max all the time if they don't have run and charge? Plus, they lose one every subsequent battle round. Can you please explain?
@@javiergarcell3075 you can use redeploy to gain 2 in your opponents turn and then charge on yours. If you do a normal run you gain 2 lose 1 at the end.the backing crew has their own way of gaining 2 incase you're not at max. It just feels like you could use it once and then never need it again. I would've liked for it to do damage like it did before.

Classic GW... making the most used unit of Ironjawz (gore gruntas) a pile of shit, so people buy the other minis that they don't have enough of to play properly. Now I need to decide if I get more Brutes to be able to run a working list since my 12 Gore Gruntas are so bad in comparison to any of the infantry -.-
This review has not aged well (in 4 weeks. IJ have lost ALL their soul, and are just pillow fisted, easy to out manoeuvre, easy to squash trash right now. This is from a die hard IJ player. Well done GW, another show of how much you despise Orruks. 👏 What a wasted opportunity for Big Pigs to shine
I have had a lot of success in this season, unpopular opinion I know, I went 4-1 in a local tournament and have found us to be fairly durable.
@SidthegreenBurnell-h5o what was your list out of interest. I'm now running Kragnos with 2 x Reinforced Brutes, 1 x Reinforced gore gruntas and a unit a of ragerz...
Pigs and bigger pigs for me,
I think people don’t realise how tanky and hitty our green boys can be, I basically moved them up in a castling formation with the pigs as a screen incase I failed priority, (which I have )
If I do my pigs take a little hit but that leads to my turn bringing in the pain.
If I win priority I move my pigs aside to help with tactics while the bulk of my army hits like a train.
If there is anything left it’s not usually a great deal.

I just don’t falter from my main tactic, at some point they have to engage ideally on my terms.
I have been laughing in the face of most armies, only really struggled against lunineth but that was half my fault and half my opponent being a boss.
I love the Kragnos list too, 3d6 charge is amazing, I find though I have to get old kraggy in early as people can set up to try and kill him.
Use him or lose him I find all too often, but he can win the game for us,
Some people just don’t get us IJ OGs, some people struggle but we power through with all our green skinned grace.
We might have it harder than most but our green fist and thick skulls are harder !
@SidthegreenBurnell-h5o I'm running Krazoggs Stampede with good success since my last comments. 2 x tuskboss, 3 x Hacka's, 3 x gruntas. Tanky and the MWs are great and the potential to one shot an 8 wound hero is fun

the moment you finished with the brutes' scroll the video is over. NOTHING in the roster can compare to them. theyre the most survivable unit, the most damaging unit, and the best at objective control. Just fill the whole list with with them at this point

I like the battle formations way more for Iron Jawz then I did for Gitz. Iron Jawz seem overpowered compared to other armies so far. I can't wait to see the points costs for different armies to give more context to what I am seeing. Ever since I saw big pigs I have felt the pull of the WAAAGH! If I wasn't playing Orcs and Goblins in ToW I would probably start collecting yet another greenskin army. This is an army I am hoping gets a Christmas box.

I'm sure there is a list and we need points but all of that is trash. hitting on a 4+ in unplayable. Brutes and big pigs' are good but they took everything good from Iron jawz and gave you nothing.
