Recently on a long awaited overseas trip I went way off track just to see Daniel Zapico perform. It was an out of this world supreme experience. I am so deeply grateful to this musical genius. He sustains me most days of the week. Thank you from the depths of human existence Daniel.
Dear Kristiina, thank you so much for your lovely comment and for taking the time to come to one of my concerts! Where was it? Next time let me know, please!
@@zapicodani Metz….btw I fell in love with the baroque lute in the past few years and now my darling husband and fine son are all enslaved to the théorbo. I play your music every day. It lifts me, inspires my spirit, honestly I could cry with gratitude that I discovered this hidden realm… it has become my treasure. Our treasure that brightens my soul and spirit. It was such fun too taking the pilgrimage…from Australia where we have migrated to, flying to Switzerland and then driving through Germany and France to Metz in a glorious Tesla… wow to get to that sparkling hall and your exquisite performance and show was truly a pinnacle of my life…. In another decade it was seeing Ravi Shankar when I was 18 in Johannesburg… for me your artistry and sensitivity are up there!
@@goldenbelly8268 wow, wonderful memories! It makes me so happy to be part of your memories. Thank you very much for sharing this little adventure. Hope to see and greet you next time!
@@zapicodani What Kristina says about your music, could not be better expressed! - In a world getting ever more rusted up; your music of PURE GOLD is still shining brilliantly through the darkest of clouds. Daniel! ... The more one listens to this music, the more one hears! ... THAT is the mystery here! ... There is a feeling you are tuning in to another realm; where your inner Soul has taken over from your outer Mind!
For what appears to be an impromptu recording, the sound quality of this video is really amazing -- I keep having to come back to listen and watch again and again!
Fantastic playing. I've been listening to your duo performance of this with Pablo on repeat. Nice to hear the solo interpretation. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your dedication to your profession. Besides the present joy you bring, you also provide insight into history and how arts and arms influenced peoples and cultures. A Btiyish program called Connections provided a history of inventions, explaining how different men and women from different backgrounds provided snippets of insight until breakthroughs were made. Such a program from late medieval times to early modern classical would be a venture worth trying. Best of luck to you and your brother--stay safe.
Que maravilla. Me encantaria ver algún concierto tuyo “en vivo” aquí en PT o en España. Adoro tu música. Me da tanta alegría y me sostuvo cuando mi madre murió este verano. Muitos abraços.

It must be kind of an inconvenience to have to tune the bass strings before playing, unless you have some ungodly long arms.😂
